Subject to "The Land Acts, 1910, the Governor in Council may, in Her Majesty's name, grant to the Commissioner free of charge any Crown land required by the Commissioner for the purposes of the Irrigation Acts. If the purchase price per the land to be sold to the owner under subsection (5) of this paragraph, cannot be agreed upon, the commissioner may, and if an agreement has been entered into for the sale of land under the aid subsection 5 subject to the determination.

To enter into, amend or change any contract with any person for all or any of the purposes of this Act;. f). Any money due to the Crown in terms of this Act may be recovered by summary proceedings before two judges on the complaint of the Commissioner or secretary, or by action in any court. In the second case, this will be done in writing, signed by or on behalf of the commissioner; In the third case, this can be done or exercised orally, without written notice, by or on behalf of the commissioner. All documents of whatever nature purporting to be issued or written by or under the direction of the Commissioner and purporting to be signed by the Commissioner or the Secretary will be received.

The Commissioner may, with the approval of the Governor in Council, exercise all or any of his powers outside the Territory for the purpose of storing, distributing or supplying water or power. When any person sells any land within the Territory, he must give written notice of such sale to the Commissioner, stating the name and address of the purchaser. Expenses recoverable by the Commissioner in respect of the performance of works for or on behalf of any computer include the amount of any compensation paid by the Commissioner in respect of such works. luwt~rs oi trustees and agents.
The Commissioner or his representative may order any member of the police. compel with due assistance to enter and take possession of such property and deliver it to the Commissioner or his agent, and if necessary remove any person. 34;land under the control of the Commissioner" includes-. a) Any Crown land assigned or allotted to or placed under the control of the Commissioner under this Act or set apart for the purposes of this Act;. The Commissioner may arrange with any Local Authority for the impoundment of any stock lost in any canal, drain or land specified in or under the control of the Commissioner. In addition to the 1 fines set forth herein, any expenses incurred by the Commissioner by reason of a violation of this Regulation shall be paid by the person who commits the violation of the suit. In allocating a water right to one property, the commissioner will take into account the amount of crops suitable to the soil and climate of the area or any part thereof and not grown thereon or in the area of each farm that he considers suitable. for irrigation (} culture) and runs it. The amount of any charge so levied shall be payable by the occupant or, as the case may be, the owner, to the commissioner within thirty days after the service of such notice upon him, and may be paid anywhere.

Any person aggrieved by the Commissioner's refusal to approve any such plan submitted by us may appeal within one month after notifying the Minister of such refusal. The Commissioner shall be entitled to institute and maintain any proceeding in any Court of Justice, whether such proceeding is for my civil remedy or for the recovery or enforcement of any dry plan. against any person or authority for failure to comply with the requirements of this regulation or the decision of the Commissioner. Any person who without the approval of the Commissioner violates the terms of this regulation shall be subject to a fine not exceeding two hundred dollars and a further daily fine not exceeding one hundred dollars. The Commissioner shall, once a year, make and collect, by a notice in writing to the owner of the sugar factory in terms of the sugarcane regulation. The amount of assessment so made and charged shall be paid by the owner of the sugar factory within thirty days of the service of such notice and shall be paid at the place specified in such notice in this behalf.REGULATIONS UNDER IRRIGATION ACT
