THE SUPREME COURT ACT OF 1892, No. 2, 56 Vic. No. 10

An Act to further Amend "The Supreme Court Acts, 1867 to 1892"
[Assented to 13 September, 1892]
BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-
1. Short title. This Act shall be read and construed with and as an amendment of "The Supreme Court Acts, 1867 to 1892," and may be cited together with those Acts by the same name, and separately as
"The Supreme Court Act of 1892, No. 2."
2. A Judge of the Supreme Court of an Australian Colony may be appointed an Acting Judge of the Supreme Court of Queensland for the purposes of constituting the Full Court. Any Judge of the Supreme Court of any of the Australian Colonies may be appointed to act as a Judge of the Supreme Court of Queensland for the purposes specified in the twelfth section of "The Supreme Court Act of 1892," and any such Judge shall, for the purposes of that section, be deemed to be a person qualified to be a Judge of the Court, whether he is otherwise so qualified or not.
