JUDGES' SALARIES AND PENSIONS ACT AlVIENDMENT ACT 1984, NO. 75

[Reprinted as at 1 February, 1987]

An Act to amend the Judges' Salaries and Pensions Act 1967-1980 in certain particulars

[ASSENTED TO 18 OCTOBER, 1984]

BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

1. Short title and citation. (1) This Act may be cited as the Judges' Salaries and Pensions Act Amendment Act 1984.

(2) In this Act the Judges! Salaries and Pensions Act 1967-1980 is referred to as the Principal Act.

(3) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Judges' Salaries and Pensions Act 1967-1984.

2-7. Amended Principal Act.

8. Savings. On and from the commencement of this Act, and until any alteration is made in accordance with the Plincipal Act as amended by this Act, a Judge of the Supreme Court, and a Judge of District Courts shall be paid, and in the case of a Judge appointed before the commencement of this Act, shall continue to be paid, the salary and allowance payable to him as if this Act had not been passed.
