Tho Vice-Chancellor offers a Prize of Twenty Guineas for the best English Essay, open t o all Matriculated Students of the University not of standing lor the Degree of Master of Arts.
The Essays are to bo sent in to the Registrar on or before the first day of March.
Every Essay is to bo distinguished by a motto, and to bo accompanied by a sealed envelope containing the name of the Author, and bearing upon its exterior the same motto.
No Essay is to be in the handwriting of the Author.
