We have clinic' work every morning of the week and one (1) hour on Saturday and Sunday mornings. We take it in turns to be
11
0n call
IIfor one whole week.
The clinic here is big.
There is a lot of work to do.
l
In the clinic we take temperatures, clean and bandage sores, listen to people
1s chests, take blood pressures, and mix
•oral Rehydration Salts' for people with diarrhoea.
We also syringe out infected ears.
We have our own baby clinic.
Here we show mothers how to bath their babies properly.
We weigh the babies to make sure they are gaining
weight and not getting sick.
We give immunisation needles to the babies and all other children. All this we record in their own ba by charts.

Some of us can drive.
We drive to the outstation at Mt. Liebig, to see the sick people there.
There is one part-time
health worker at Mt.Liebig.
Her name is Jeannie Ross.
Brogus and Peter sometimes do town trips on Mondays and Fridays.
They take sick people into Al ice Springs to see the doctor.
Every day at 10.30 in the morning, and at 2 . 30
after lunch, we do the radio schedule and memos.
We need to talk slowly and clearly when we speak on the radio so the doctor can understand us .

---We also drive around to all the Papunya camps to get sick people.
We have lessons each day
with the Adult Educator
for Health Worker Training.
Every morning we visit the school to do school surveys.
We check the children
1s
eyes and ears for infection.
We wash their hair with KP24 Lotion and A200 Shampoo for head lice.
We also look to see if they have scabies.
This is very important .
