1 [TCHP-EM] Request by Department of Lands for Certificates of Expenditure

SUMMARY OF REPORT:
The Department of Lands requests provision of Certificates of Expenditure for various works undertaken from loan funds provided in 1996.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Trust authorises execution of Certificates of Expenditure for loan
funds of $97,000 and $110,000 provided to the Tweed Coast Holiday Parks in
1996.
REPORT:
The Trust received the attached letters of request from the Department of Lands on 1 June 2005.
The letters request the Trust Chairman and Secretary/Trust Board Member certify by signing the tendered form that loan funds have been duly expended.
The Executive Manager advises that the loan for $97,000 was fully expended in 1997 on the installation of a new residence for Pottsville South Holiday Park and the construction of a BBQ facility in Pottsville North Holiday Park.
The Executive Manager advises that the loan for $110,000 was fully expended in 1997 on the installation of two (2) new cabins for Kingscliff Beach Holiday Park.
Accordingly the Executive Manager recommends the Trust authorise the completion of
the Certificates of Expenditure as requested.
