Fees and Charges 2001/2002 SUMMARY OF REPORT:
This report proposes fees and charges for the year 2001/2002 for each product for each of the seven Tweed Coast Holiday Parks.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Tweed Coast Holiday Parks Reserve Trust adopts the fees and charges, amendment to reservation deposits and seasonal periods as detailed in this report for the year 1 July 2001 to 30 June 2002.

REPORT:
The following schedule of fees and charges has been prepared after review of market rates, previous trading results and allowance for anticipated movements in trading conditions.
GST at the appropriate rate is included in all of the prices.
In relation to peak period reservation deposits it is recommended that the existing Christmas and Easter reservation deposit amount be increased from 2 nights at the 1 to 6 night rate for the product booked to 4 nights at the rate for the product booked. Christmas and Easter bookings for periods less than 4 nights are to be paid in full at time of making the reservation.
Seasonal periods for the year 1 July 2001 to 30 June 2002 are:-
a. Christmas: Saturday 22 December 2001 to Friday 25 January 2002 inclusive b. Easter: Friday 29 March 2002 to Friday 5 April 2002
c. Winter: Months of June, July and August (where applicable)
d. Off-Peak All periods not included above

Amendment to the Fees and Charges Applying to the Cabins Without En-suite at Pottsville North Holiday Park
SUMMARY OF REPORT:
This report proposes an amendment to the existing fees and charges for the Cabins without en-suite at Pottsville North Holiday Park.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Tweed Coast Holiday Parks Reserve Trust amends the existing fees and charges for the Cabins without en-suite at Pottsville North Holiday Park in accordance with the recommendation contained in this report.

REPORT:
The cabins without en-suite at Pottsville North, otherwise known as the “fisherman’s cottages”, are essentially at the end of their life. These cabins offer basic accommodation, without hot water, and are by today’s standards very small for the number of persons they can accommodate.
For these reasons it is proposed to retire the fisherman’s cottages this year and convert their sites to
“pull-through” tourist sites. This change to be affected once all existing bookings have been satisfied and subject to finance availability.
The recent (successful) introduction of the Garden cabins at Pottsville North has served to make comparison between these products inevitable, and in this context client feedback is that even though the Garden cabin tariff is approximately 70% higher, it is still seen as offering better value than the fisherman’s cottages.
Accordingly, in order to provide a better balance between price and value, it is proposed that the existing fees and charges for the fisherman’s cottages be amended as follows:-
