The M e m b e r f o r N o r w o o d , M r . D o n D u n s t a n , w i l l t h i s w e e k o p e n a s p e c i a l m u s i c c e n t r e at t h e M a r r y a t v i l l e H i g h S c h o o l .
T h e n e w c e n t r e w i l l be the f i r s t o f i t s t y p e in S o u t h A u s t r a l i a and is d e s i g n e d to g i v e c h i l d r e n g r e a t e r a c e s s to m u s i c a l f a c i l i t i e s and to g i v e m o r e c h i l d r e n the o p p o r t u n i t y to a p p r e c i a t e m u s i c a l s t u d i e s .

M r . D u n s t a n s a i d t h i s w e e k t h a t t h e d e v e l o p m e n t of m u s i c c e n t r e s w a s an e x c i t i n g s t e p f o r w a r d in e d u c a t i o n in the S t a t e .
