Release of 2011 results and OPs
Purpose
To advise schools of the arrangements for the online release and hard copy mailout of 2011 senior student results and Overall Positions (OPs) and Field Positions (FPs) for tertiary entrance.
Information
This year, all results contributing to the Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) as well as OPs and FPs will be available in students’ learning accounts on the Student Connect website from 9 am on Saturday 17 December 2011. Please be aware that this year OPs and FPs will not be available through an SMS service. Student Connect is available at: https://studentconnect.qsa.qld.edu.au/.
Students must know their Learner Unique Identifier (LUI) and password to log in and check their results. Students will be able to access their results more quickly if they have previously activated their learning account.
Schools are reminded that it is their responsibility to ensure students have been issued their LUI.
Students will not be able to access their results online without a LUI.
Students will receive their Senior Education Profile, which may include a QCE, Tertiary Entrance Statement, Senior Statement or Queensland Certificate of Individual Achievement in the mail from Monday 19 December 2011.

To assist schools to communicate the above information to students, the Queensland Studies Authority has developed the enclosed promotional poster and flyer.
What you need to do
Display the enclosed posters at your school.
Distribute the enclosed flyer to all Year 12 students at your school.
Issue/reissue LUIs to students in Year 12 and encourage them to activate their learning account before the end of the year so they can access their results as soon as they are available.
Ensure all senior school teachers and guidance officers are made aware of the arrangements for the 2011 release of senior student results and OPs.
