Student Connect magazine, student survey and learning account login competition
Purpose
To advise schools about:
• the distribution of QSA’s Student Connect magazine to Year 12 students
• a survey and competition to encourage Year 12 students to log into their learning account.
Background
Student Connect gives Year 12 students important information about their senior studies and future education, training and career pathways. The magazine website <www.studentconnect.qsa.qld.edu.au>
provides senior students access to their learning accounts and results, as well as information and links to help them explore opportunities for their future education, training and career pathways.
Information
The May issue of Student Connect will start arriving in schools from 6 May 2013.
As part of this issue, the QSA will be encouraging Year 12 students to log into their learning account between 1 June and 31 August 2013 to check their personal and enrolment details, and complete an online survey about QSA's communications with students.
As an incentive, any Year 12 student who logs into their learning account at least once between 1 June and 31 August 2013 and completes the online survey will be eligible to win one of three iPad minis.
What you need to do
• Distribute a copy of Student Connect to each Year 12 student in your school.
• Issue or reissue LUIs to students in Year 12.
