about the author
Alan Seymour originally came f rom Western Australia, but now lives in the Sydney suburb of Randwick.
l n t h e c o m p e t i t i o n w h i c h a w a r d e d " T h e S h i f t i n g Heart" f irst place, Alan's play "Swamp C.reatures' was given a special mention, after which it reached the finals in the New South Wales Country Drama Eisteddfod, and only last week it was televised in Sydney.
Alan is writing a new play at the moment, and we wish him all the success he deserves.
