Gain insights into new models and strategies for working with whänau on this unique two-day course.

You will learn about the latest developments in areas such as risk and protective factors for whänau wellbeing and converting a crisis to positive whanau planning. You’ll also come away with new tools to help you develop a profile, plan intervention strategies and measure outcomes.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

The course is led by Professor Sir Mason Durie, Massey University’s Assistant Vice Chancellor (Mäori & Pasifika).

Professor Sir Mason, Ngäti Kauwhata, Ngäti Raukawa, and Rangitäne, led the Whänau Ora Taskforce. It will be the first time that many of the tools and strategies outlined in the taskforce report will be shared.
