These lectures are open to non-resident as well as resident students of both sexes, without any religious or other restrictions, and are of such hours as not to interfere with attendance at university lectures. CoUege teaching in this department is largely conducted by means of "question and answer." PRACTICAL LESSONS for minor surgery, stethoscope use, etc. are also conducted.

In addition to the chemical laboratory, the college also has a fully equipped Biological Laboratory (the first established in Victoria), where teaching is continuously provided using practical demonstrations and dissections in biology etc. , Medicine, and Science courses in Melbourne University. All bedrooms and living rooms are furnished by the CoUege, and no charge is made for the use of the furniture. The libraries are open for use by both men and women daily from and technique.
