Application for Research Project/Thesis (ECN490/ECN599) Autumn 2022
Students who are required to enroll in ECN 490/ECN 599 in Autumn 2022 are advised to submit an application via email to Dr. Shahriar Kabir, Associate Professor & Head at [email protected], Dr. Md. Khaled Saifullah, Assistant Professor & Coordinator at [email protected] and Ms. Meemnaz Meem, Office Manager at [email protected] of Department of Economics.
The application letter should be addressed to Dr. Shahriar Kabir, Associate Professor & Head by mentioning your name and ID. The application should contain the following documents:
1. Credits completed till Summer 2022 (attach copy of the latest transcript)
2. Courses left to complete (mention course ID & Title)
3. Research proposal with names of two preferred supervisors. The proposal should be 2 to 5 pages long (excluding reference) and should follow the format given below:
I. Introduction a. Background
b. Research Objective II. Brief Literature Review III. Proposed Methodology IV. Expected Outcome
V. Reference
The deadline for the application is 12:00pm on 6th September 2022, Tuesday. No application will be accepted after the deadline and students will not be allowed to enroll in ECN 490/ECN599 without the application.
