The objective of this project is to design and fabricate the smart auto-bar cutter which is affordable by common people. In the past, there have been several investigations into the lawnmower industry in the US, Germany, etc. Electric lawn mowers are in 90% of US homes and they create 5% of total US pollution.
Introduction
A further improvement is the predominant use of DC motors and batteries instead of combustion engines. Developed a lawn mower that requires no human interaction except when placed in the work area. The machine uses sensors to provide a microcontroller within the cutting area, and the machine determines the path to follow, evaluates its position and stops once the task is completed.
Although existing grass cutters perform the task of cutting grass, their operations are associated with health hazards. However, the invention of the automated grass cutter helps reduce the high level noise and operator fatigue experienced from using pre-existing cutting machines. There are various commercially manufactured models available for purchase, but these mowers require a boundary wire to be installed around the perimeter of the lawn area.
Came up with a concept that eliminates the use of perimeter wire for a robot car with the use of sensors for obstacle detection and avoidance. Develop an automatic lawnmower that uses the use of different sensors to detect and avoid objects and people while working. Develop an autonomous lawnmower, but retain the ability to be used manually where users specify how the lawn should be cut.
When in automatic mode, it requires no perimeter wire to keep the robot within the lawn and requires very little human effort to operate.

For safety operation, the motor will be controlled by an Android device as the motor has a high rotation speed. Besides this, since the motor produces a minimum torque value, it is much more suitable as it is lighter in weight. Referring to current literature availability, there are many variations of lawnmowers existing in the global markets, which may not meet the performance and operating cost criteria.
The main focus of this study is to design and manufacture a lawn mower that is cost-effective, feasible and easy to operate. With the help of this portable lawn mower, consumers can easily maintain and beautify their yards and gardens without any hassle. An electric lawn mower is more convenient and easier to use than the lawn mower with a motor, so we can make an electric lawn mower with an electric motor, which ensures the high rotation speed of the blades. Cordless electric lawn mowers are powered by 12V rechargeable batteries.
The lawnmower based on the Arduino UNO microcontroller consists of a motor and a cutting tool gear. Assemble the machine, make the necessary connections and upload the code to the Arduino UNO microcontroller. If you live in a home with a yard, you probably use at least one type of lawnmower to keep your yard looking beautiful. Lawnmowers have different intended uses and come in many types and sizes, but all have roughly the same use for keeping the grass trimmed. Choosing the right mower for the job makes the job easier and leads to satisfactory results.
Cutters can be rotary, where the blades rotate horizontally relative to the ground, or disc cutters, where the blades cut vertically. Rotary cutters, usually powered by gas or electricity, can be self-propelled or rely on manpower to move them. Lawnmowers are designed to cut grass short, but a good rule of thumb is to never cut more than one-third of the height of your grass.
Most trimmers have levers that allow you to raise or lower the cutting blades to cut the grass to your desired length. It is widely used to cut small grasses and can also be used to cut small plants. The main disadvantage of the existing system is that it needs a special person to operate the robot, so to overcome this obstacle a system for fully automated electric grass cutter was implemented.
Since there is no fuel cost and no pollution as the current system uses battery as power source, the designed robot will meet the challenge with low operating cost and renewable energy.

A corded lawn mower is limited in its reach by the availability of cable wire and can also be dangerous when the lawn mower accidentally moves over the cable wire, leading to a high risk of electric shock to the user. A cordless lawnmower uses rechargeable batteries that power the lawnmower, a larger number of batteries leads to a longer run time of the lawnmower. Compared to the petrol Grasscutter, even the capacity is less for the same weight parameter.
I will not go into the details of the construction of the robot, as your robot chassis may be different from mine and you can easily figure out how to build the robot from the available parts and possible cable management to make the robot more attractive. The +5V and GND pins of the Bluetooth module are connected to +5V and GND of Arduino. Digital I/O pins 9 to 12 of Arduino are configured as input pins of the motor driver and are connected to IN1 to IN4 of the L298N motor drive module.
Since the L298N only has slots for two motors, we combined the left side motors into one assembly and the right side motors into another assembly and connected both assemblies to the output of the L298N module. Bluetooth module (Bluetooth module) refers to the basic set of chip circuits with integrated Bluetooth function, which is used for 2.4G short-range wireless communication module. If you attach a jumper wire to the circuit, you can short it and cut (jump) the electrical circuit.

Our project titled "Design and Fabrication of Smart Auto Lawn Mower for Analysis of its Performance" has been successfully completed and the results obtained are satisfactory. This will give much less physical effort to the people and can be easily handled. In future we can implement grass cutter by specifying the area to be cut and also the grab height as per the requirement.
The project we have done reaches surly the average families because the grass can be cut with minimum cost and with minimum time. We can implement grass cutter in future by specifying the area to be cut and also the height of grass as per the requirement. We can install the grass collector to collect the grass, instead of leaving it behind.
If the panel is used by high wattage, then the machine can be used at night for garden lighting or room lighting, because we can accumulate more power. In a nutshell, the lawnmower is designed, manufactured and tested to meet all of the above. Moreover, using this machine makes the grass cutting process faster by reducing the mowing time.
In addition, it is lighter, environmentally friendly and cost-effective, which is useful for non-commercial use (home users) when maintaining and trimming the grass in gardens, homes or yards.
