GRADUATION PROCEDURE

EXPLANATION OF GRADING SYSTEM

Failure to pass a course will result in a grade of "F" and will remain in the grade even when a student. However, in order to continue at the university, the student may change majors or schools depending on the failed course(s). I will be assigned to a student who has attended and 75% classes and has a very strong and valid reason ascertained by the senior management for not appearing for the final exam.

In situations where a student is unable to complete the course due to unexpected illness or family emergency and has not attended at least 75% of the classes, he/she will be asked to withdraw from that course and to repeat. In unavoidable circumstances where students have completed 75% of the classes but cannot continue due to illness or extreme family emergency, instructors are requested to give the student a composite grade based on assignments/tests already completed and any additional assignment/ exam that the instructor feels necessary. The student must meet the requirement before the end of the following semester in consultation with the course instructor, failing which the grade will convert to 'F'.

A student may decide to withdraw from a course by the deadline specified by the university from time to time. However, a student may continue to attend the classes even after being automatically withdrawn for missing classes and taking the final exam. In such a case, he/she must apply to the Registrar's Office at least one week before the final examination week of the semester with sufficient supporting papers in favor of his/her claim.

Please note: The Office of the Registrar reserves the right to reject such claims depending on the authenticity of the applications.
