If any student misses 8 or more classes (out of 24-26 classes) in a course of study, the student will automatically receive the
grade ‘W’ (withdrawal) as per the rules and regulations of IUB. In such a case, the student will neither be eligible for attending the remaining class(es) nor be eligible for appearing at the
examinations of the course. All the students are, therefore, advised to ensure requisite class attendance in order to avoid auto-withdrawal and its further consequences.
However, the students, who are willing to discontinue their course of study and receive the grade ‘W’ (withdrawal) due to any unavoidable circumstance, are asked to withdraw electronically (URL for online withdrawal: www.iras.iub.edu.bd) from their respective course(s) meeting the deadline given below:
For Undergraduate Programs: Thursday, 07 March 2019 For MBA and EMBA Programs: Thursday, 14 March 2019
No student will be allowed to withdraw from their course(s) after the deadline as mentioned above.
