If any student misses 8 or more classes (out of 24-26 classes) in a course of study, the student will automatically receive the
grade ‘W’ (withdrawal) as per the rules and regulations of IUB. In such a case, the student will not be eligible either for attending the remaining class(es) or for appearing at the examination(s) of the course, if any. All the students are, therefore, advised to ensure requisite class attendance in order to avoid auto-withdrawal and its further consequences.
However, the students, who are willing to discontinue their course of study due to any unavoidable circumstance and receive the grade ‘W’
(withdrawal), are asked to withdraw from their respective course(s) electronically (URL for online course withdrawal: www.iras.iub.edu.bd) meeting the deadline given below:
For Undergraduate Programs: Thursday, 07 March 2019 For MBA and EMBA Programs: Thursday, 14 March 2019
No student will have the access to online course withdrawal after the deadline as mentioned above.
