It was great opportunity for me to acquire knowledge and experience in respect one of the renowned Bangla news portal in Bangladesh. I believe that the knowledge and experience I have gathered during my internship period will immensely help me in my professional life.

CHAPTER ONE
INTRODUCTION
1.1. What is Internship?
Internship is a work related learning experience for students to develop their experience on occupational in to the fields.Internship provides real world experience to explore or gain the relevant knowledge. Intern students works for a fixed period of time that can be three or four months. Unpaid internships are very common but sometimes we see little paid internship too.
1.2. why Internship is important?
We know that having a university degree may not enough for candidates to get job in today‟s market. Students must have additional qualification to prove themselves. After our long academic learning, internship gives us the opportunity to learn from hand in hand, which gives us the flavor of real job experience. So we can say that internship is the investment for our future which set the foundation for career.
During internship we have to work with various people in field and office, thus we connected with new people of different level and profession, and our network with various professions has grown day by day. Those Networks will help us to get references and find new job opportunities in future.
During academic assignments we were given relatively longer time frame to complete our assignments, but in professional life times are limited as news need to be published soon.
We know that in this digital era every news and information spread around the world within very short time. We must have the proficiency to realize the value of real time news.
Internship helps us to access the value of time management.
1.3. What is Mobile Journalism
(MoJo)?
MoJo mean doing Journalism with Mobile. Mobile Journalism is an emerging from of new media storytelling. Mobile journalism reports even instantly. Mobile Journalism is practiced by professional reporters belonging to media houses.

.As an intern Journalist at Bangladesh Times ,I have worked for 10 weeks . My internship at Bangladesh Times starts 2nd February 2021 and officially ended at 12th April 2021.
1.5. Background of my supervisor.
While I internship at Bangladesh Times, my supervisor was Sabbir Ahmed, who is the staff correspondent & head of MoJo. He has a own word about MoJo By the mobile, For the mobile. He was former senior correspondent at Sarabangla.net,Barta24,banglanews24.com

CHAPTER THREE
LEARNING AND EXPERIENCE
3.1. Knowledge gathering/ learning.
During my internship at Bangladesh Times, I gathered the news from the field and also edit news as a desk reporter. Finally published the news from the field. In those separate section I had gathered knowledge. Knowledge that I had gathered during my internship are listed below- Editing Video- While I was editing Video news firstly write a news script and check bangle spelling mistakes. Then send to my supervisor to ensure its accuracy.
Practical Experience –When I go to out site as a reporter for practice Mobile Journalism many people don’t agreed for interview. They called Mobile not perfect for a journalist. Because journalist must should have camera. They also called TikTok Journalist. Some people ask are you make TikTok video? But sometime some people was interest for the interview.
3.2. Special Experience.
One day I went to Bashundhara to buy a mobile gimbal. A girl standing beside me and saying,
"Brother, are you TikToker?" I said why do you think so? He said now everyone made TikTolk video with mobile so I said! I said no, I do mobile journalism (MoJo). Did he say how to do journalism with mobile? Everyone has an idea that a journalist has to have a big camera. That's not what a journalist thinks.
3.3. Tools and technologies Used
.During my internship at the Bangladesh Times, I used several tools and technologies for covering my news. While I was collecting the news ‘Bangladesh Times, I used my smart phone for video – ‘Readmi Note 7 pro Camera, used Boya by M1 to record what speakers or reporters says,used used Yonteng VCT-691RM tripod, used Yonteng 1288 self-stick as a tripod. I also used KINEMASTER paid version for video editing.
CHAPTER FOUR
EVALUATION OF LEARNING
4.1. Academic learning and practical work
.There are many differences between academic studies and working in the real world. Internship may the best way to acquiring knowledge on something specific because there we can use both of our practical and theoretical aspects of learning. As a student of Journalism and Mass Communication, I have studied journalism for four years.
During our academic practicing, we do not need to think much about time. Our teachers have given us enough time to complete our course assignment. But in our professional life, punctuality should be maintained. We know that in this digital era every news and information spread around the world within very short time. We must have the ability to realize the value of real time news.
So it is easily understandable that there are several distinction between the professional and academic life
4.2. Expectation and outcome
.As a student of Journalism and Mass Communication, I working as an Intern on one of the popular newsportal of Bangladesh, Bangladesh Times I got many support from my academic learning. Although academic learning and professional fields are totally different things.
Basically as an Intern, I was interested to do reporting into MoJo. Finally I gained my expectation by Sabbir Ahmed, who is the Special correspondent and head of the MoJo dept of the newsportal.
4.3. Skills developed during my internship.
During my internship at Bangladesh Times , in the beginning MoJo reporting I was responsible interview in people. Then I improve my script writing skills. Skills those I had developed during my internship are listed below.
1. Planning checklist.
2. Collecting news resources.
3. Practical field experience.
4. Editing practices by Kinemaster.
5. Proper time management.
6. Professionalism and confidence.
7. Developing social relationships.
8. Managing audience comments and letters.
9. Pick up the right word for writing story.
CHAPTER FIVE
CONCLUSION
My internship at the Bangladesh Times news portal was the best experience for me as a MoJo reporters. Its help me future jobs field. I am glad to have the Bangladesh Times newst and continuously published news portal in Bangladesh as the place of my frist work experience. I learn how to be punctual and finish my work on time. I must aslo mention my supervisor at Bangladesh Times. They are great well behaved and energetic bunch of people and ready to help me. I am extremely lucky to be MoJo reporters. I feel proud for completing my graduation from Daffodil International University which is one of the reputed universities in Bangladesh.
