Mr. Didar A. Husain
Just after passing the HSC exam from Faujdarhat Cadet College and while he was a history department freshman at Dhaka University, Didar A. Husain joined the Liberation War in 1971 and was commissioned in the Bangladesh Army during the war. He had a successful career in the army holding various
important posts including instructorship in the Infantry School for three years before retiring as a Major in 1981.
Since then he has been in business and is currently involved with organizations such as Rahim Textile Mills Ltd., Property Care Services Bangladesh (Pvt.) Ltd, Graphics Information System Ltd. Mr. Husain has been actively involved in the organizational activities of Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA) and was its Vice President for the 2005 – 2006 period. He was also a member of the Business Advisory Body of CRP (Center for Rehabilitation of the Paralyzed), Savar.
He is married to Shirin Husain and they have a daughter.
