FINDINGS
I talked to the customer, I asked their expectation for an improvement of Bangladesh Commerce Bank Limited. I have also talked to almost all the executives and officers of the bank, they have shared their opinion with me on how they run their banking operation. In the total branches, only 60% of the branch are profitable, the rest of 40% are bringing huge losses.
The branch I worked on is on profitable situation, from data I collected, last year Kathgora branch of BCBL profit was made around 1 Crore 56 lakh. In 2018, the company incurred a huge amount of loss which led BCBL to increase debt equity to 28,877. The most sensitive component of BCBL is Equity Multiplier with Total Asset Turnover because it showed -0.21 Average growth rate.
According to General Size Analysis, profit before tax and net profit are respectively -84% and -89% of interest income of BCBL.
