INDEPENDENT UNIVERSITY, BANGLADESH (IUB) one of the leading private universities in the country, invites applications for the following full-time faculty position under the School of Business.
Position: PROFESSOR IN ECONOMICS The ideal candidate must have:
i. PhD in the field from a recognized University;
ii. A minimum CGPA of 3 on a scale of 4 at the Master’s Degree level;
iii. No third class at the Bachelor Degree level;
iv. At least six years teaching experience as an Associate Professor; At least four publications in the field of specialization in reputed journals/venue as an Associate Professor of which two are in journals of international standard;
OR
At least five years teaching experience as an Associate Professor; At least six publications in the field of specialization in reputed journals / venues as an Associate Professor of which two are in journals/ venues of international standard;
OR
Candidates having an experience of five years as Professor in other universities and having a PhD and 7 (seven) publications and out of those two are in journals / venues of international standard may
apply for the position of Professor.
