Washing
Pressing
Removal of unwanted creases and creases: During garment production, wrinkling occurs in the garment due to operator handling and tying the garment tightly in the box. Hide imperfections: Printing can hide a multitude (large number) of imperfections and wear defects, such as frayed seams and naps. To apply creases where necessary: Sometimes in clothing we may need to apply some permanent creases like a plate on shirts and for this purpose we need to apply creases or pleats by pressing.
Shaping: Darting and seaming are used to make garments fit properly to the shape of the human body. Pressing: For sewing, light and proper pressing is done on some parts of the clothes before sewing, which is called pressing. Final pressing: The pressing which is done before the clothes are packed is known as final pressing.
Packaging
Carton specifications
A telescoping box must be at least 175 pounds per square inch for the top and 120 pounds per square inch for the bottom.
Inspection
To ensure that finished garments have no loose threads or stains and are printed to give an acceptable appearance to the customer's specifications. To ensure that all inner boxes contain the correct quality by size and color and that the boxes contain the correct number of cartons and display the correct markings. Randomly select from the packing department a quantity of shirt according to the sample plan.
Remove the shirt from the poly bag and measure to make sure it is the correct folded size &. Unfold the garment and ensure that all packaging items have been used as specified. Visually inspect the garment for its overall appearance, paying particular attention to the critical areas ie.
If a defect is found, a green Q.C sticker should be applied to the garment and the details recorded on the inspection form. After unfolding the garment, measure it to ensure size tolerance is allowed after pressing. If a garment is shown as rejected, a red Q.C sticker must be applied to the garment and the garment must be re-passed to the press supervisor.
