I am happy to consider my internship report on “Training and Development Practices of Islami Bank of Bangladesh Limited” which could be a part of BBA program.

Aminul Islam Rabbi declares in this line that I have done free internship report on “Training and Development Practices at Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited” after completing 15 days training at IBTRA Mohammadpur, babor road and 45 days at nikunja branch Dhaka. Nothing in this report is duplicated and no information is illegal and hidden about Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd. Aminul Islam Rabbi, with ID no. Department of Business Administration, Daffodil International University has successfully completed its internship program on training and development practices of Islami Bank of Bangladesh Limited” under my supervision. This internship report has been submitted for a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) major in Human Resource Management at Daffodil International University (DIU).

The main object of this report is the training and development process followed by IBBL and conducting training needs analysis and training and development method of IBBL. Islami Bank Bangladesh sh.pk has some findings that in the training session they try to put all the intern students in the same room, there are about 150 to 200 people and they do not provide computers and other electronic equipment. The internship position report item is "Bangladesh Islamic Bank Ltd Training and Development Internship." And I have completed my three months internship in Bangladesh Islamic Bank Ltd at Nikunja-Branch, Dhaka.

The main purpose of this report is to explore the overall training and development practices of IBBL Ltd.

Islamic Bank Bangladesh Limited is a Joint Venture Public Limited Company engaged in commercial banking dependent on Islamic Shari'ah with 63.09% external shareholding having the largest branch (all out of 374 branches) among the private banks in Bangladesh. It was built up on the thirteenth of March 1983 as the primary Islamic bank in Southeast Asia. We are likely to establish and maintain the cutting-edge banking strategies, to guarantee the adequacy and improvement of the monetary framework depending on Islamic standards and to become the solid and capable association with unusual energetic expert working to support individuals in the light of responsibility, straightforwardness and probity to guarantee the soundness of monetary frameworks.

To create a lot of administrative progress and receive mechanical changes to ensure the effective improvement of the Islamic bank as a stable money-related foundation. To develop as a more favorable and more grounded bank at the highest point of the financial work and to continue with stable situations in valuations, according to the volume of valuable resources. To provide improvement by sector, size, economic reason and geological astute area. Investments and development need visionary financing for the business of small and medium-sized enterprises and women.

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT PROCESS OF IBBL

Current Scenario of Training and Development of IBBL

The working principles and procedures of Islamic banks are completely new and different from conventional banks. There is an inevitable need for training bank employees to orient and adapt them to the new Islamic banking system. To meet this need, Islamic Banking Training and Research Academy (IBTRA) was established in 1984, soon after the establishment of Islamic Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL).

IBTRA's activities include both training and research on various aspects of Islamic banking.

The activity Islamic banking training and research academy covers both training and research various aspects of Islamic banking. The academy development rich library's own valuable books on different subjects include Islamic economics, banking comparative philosophy of home and documents. With a view to future training requirements of the bank and also to generally cater to needs of different Islamic banking.

The academy conducts training courses and seminars for official Islamic bank Bangladesh limited and other Islamic banks. At IBBL, orientation, foundation and motivation courses for various subjects have also been developed. IBTRA Location Babor Road, Mohammadpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh Bangladesh Islamic Bank has its training center which is located in Islamic Banking Training and Research Academy (IBTRA).

FINDINGD, RECOMMENDATION AND CONCLUSION

Findings

After gathering and researching information about IBBL I must say that little thought has been given to IBBL training and development of Islamic Bank Of Bangladesh Ltd. Findings show that in training they try to put the entire student intern in the same room, it's 150 to 200 people. The IBBL authority does not provide all trainee computers and other technical support. Islamic Bank's training budgets are not good enough to even provide lunch to trainees.

The break time during exercise is not enough to rest, sometimes it becomes too long. Most of the time, the trainer uses the same method of each exercise with each trainee. It is noticeable that the allotted training time for each program is shorter compared to its content.

It is also noticeable that there is little connection between trainee and intern during training.
