The book is a feast! The main frustration is that it stops in 1989. There are twelve cover images on each page; each cover image is about 2-1/2" x 3-1/4". To really enjoy the covers, I think you need a magnifying glass, which is not a nuisance. I am reminded of using an old, hand-held stereopticon viewer and changing slides. I almost wish the artist info for the covers had been printed in a separate booklet to be kept in a pocket inside the back cover. Instead, the info is in a right-justified, wrap-around format on the page that introduces each year, so you need to flip from the covers to the list and find or keep your place in the list as you browse through the covers -- which can be distracting and does add wear and tear to the book. The Index of artists is a great asset.
