ABSTRAK

Pendidikan merupakan cara untuk memperoleh informasi maupun pengetahuan salah satunya terjadi di lingkungan sekolah berupa kegiatan proses pembelajaran. Refleksi kegiatan belajar ditunjukkan melalui hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar yang terjadi pada diri siswa. Penerapan model pembelajaran scaffolding pada mata pelajaran kompetensi kejuruan Teknik Gambar Bangunan SMK berupa memberikan bantuan belajar yang diharapkan mendorong hasil dan motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) perbedaan antara hasil belajar siswa yang pembelajarannya menerapkan model pembelajaran scaffolding dengan siswa yang pembelajarannya menerapkan model pembelajaran konvensional. 2) perbedaan antara motivasi belajar siswa yang pembelajarannya

menerapkan model pembelajaran scaffolding dengan siswa yang

pembelajarannya menerapkan model pembelajaran konvensional.

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian true experimental jenis

posstest only control group desaign dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X Teknik Gambar Bangunan SMKN 9 Garut yang berjumlah 40 orang melibatkan guru pengampu mata pelajaran kompetensi kejuruan. Instrumen penelitian berupa 5 tes essai untuk mengukur hasil belajar, 20 angket untuk mengukur motivasi belajar dan dokumentasi penelitian.

Berdasarkan hasil analisis penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa: a) terdapat perbedaan antara hasil belajar siswa yang pembelajarannya menerapkan

model pembelajaran scaffolding dengan siswa yang pembelajarannya tanpa

menerapkan model pembelajaran scaffolding (konvensional). Hal ini ditunjukkan

dengan diperoleh Sig. sebesar 2,851 > 1,695 b) terdapat perbedaan antara motivasi

belajar siswa yang pembelajarannya menerapkan model pembelajaran scaffolding

dengan siswa yang pembelajarannya tanpa menerapkan model pembelajaran scaffolding (konvensional). Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan diperoleh Sig. sebesar 2,851 > 1,685.

ABSTRACT

Education is a way to get information or knowledge one of which occurred in the school environment such as activity of the learning process. Reflection and learning activities demonstrated through the learning outcomes and the motivation to learn what happened to the student. Application model learning scaffolding on the subject lesson vocational competence building design technique SMK that it is support the expected learning outcomes and encourage the students' motivation. This study aims to determine: 1) the difference between the learning outcomes of students whose learning application of the learning model scaffolding to students who are learning to apply conventional learning models. 2) the difference between students' motivation is learning to apply learning models scaffolding with students learning to apply conventional learning models.

This study uses a true experimental research methods types postest only control group design with quantitative approach. The subjects were students of class X Building Design Technique SMKN 9 Garut totaling 40 subjects involving teachers vocational competence. The research instrument is 5 essay tests to measure learning outcomes, 20 questionnaires to measure the motivation to learn and research documentation.

Based on the analysis of research we concluded that: a) there is a difference between learning outcomes of students whose learning applying the learning model scaffolding with students whose learning without applying the learning model scaffolding (conventional). This is indicated by the acquired Sig. amounting to 2.851> 1.695 b) there is a difference between students' motivation is learning to apply learning models scaffolding with students whose learning without applying the learning model scaffolding (conventional). This is indicated by the acquired Sig. amounting to 2.851> 1.685.
