RESEARCH BACKGROUND
•
Indonesian traditional resources are diminishing hence understanding of
renewable is important
•
Current electricity access is at 80% electrification ratio (PLN)
•
Indonesian pledges to achieve 5% renewable generation by 2025 (KEN)
•
Indonesian history of renewable projects
•
New hope (ESDM & FIT 2013, 2014)
•
Central government has built PLTS Kayubihi and PLTS Kubu each 1 MWp
•
PLTS Kayubihi and PLTS Kubu requires nearly 1.5 Ha lands
•
Green area of Bali is lower than RTRW
•
Bali has many buildings that can be incorporated with PV technology
•
More solar energy by using building integrated system in Bali
•
All regional government can participate in increasing renewable generation in
Bali.
RESEARCH OBJECTIVES
Untuk mendapatkan informasi berupa basisdata bangunan-bangunan di wilayah
provinsi Bali yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai tempat pemasangan PLTS.
• Mendapatkan kriteria teknis pemilihan gedung yang bisa digunakan sebagai lokasi
pemasangan modul surya,
• Mendapatkan peta potensi bangunan-bangunan di Bali yang bisa digunakan
sebagai pemasangan modul surya,
• Mendapatkan potensi daya atau energi listrik yang bisa dihasilkan jika
bangunan-bangunan tersebut dimanfaatkan sebagai tempat pemasangan modul surya PLTS.
• Mendapatkan informasi tentang unjuk kerja, pengaruh faktor lingkungan lokal,
kendala operasional PLTS, kontribusi energi listrik PLTS dan kaitanya dengan
konsumsi energi listrik pelanggan PLN di wilayah provinsi Bali.
• Mendapatkan best practice model pengembangan PLTS dalam konteks building
integrated photovoltaic serta lesson learned sebagai rekomendasi pengembangan
RESEARCH OUTPUT
Penelitian akan menghasilkan luaran sebagai berikut:
1. Kriteria/Rumusan Teknis pemilihan gedung yang potensial dimanfaatkan
sebagai building integrated photovoltaic,
2. Peta potensi energi surya dari bangunan di Bali sebagai pendukung
pengembangan PLTS,
3. Deseminasi dalam seminar nasional SENASTEK 2016
4. Publikasi jurnal nasional/ internasional (Jurnal Energi ESDM/ IJET/Energy and

Literature reviews on technical/ design documentation of the installed
PV system
•
Literature reviews on technical/ design documentation of the public
buildings in Bali
•
Site observation/ meaurements of the location/ buildings around Bali
•
Estimation of roof top PV potential of buildings in Bali using satellite

Performance simulation and analysis of photovoltaic system using PVSyst
modeling tools

Reviews on availability of PV module (Indonesia and the world)
