The aim of the research was to get the evidence whether or not Tic-Tac-Toe Game was effective in teaching speaking at tenth grade of SMA Muhammadiyah Tambak in Academic Year 2015/2016. This research used quasi experiment method in which the subject of the research was the students of the first grade in SMA Muhammadiyah Tambak. The total numbers of the students were 30 students, and they were from X-1 as the experimental group which consisted of the 14 students and X-2 as the control group which consisted of 16 students. Tic-Tac-Toe Game was implemented in experimental group, while the control group was treated with conventional technique of teaching. The data was collected by conducting pre-test and post-test in the form of practicing a monologue about describing people. After the data were obtained, it was then analyzed using t-test. The result of the t-test was 2.222, and it was higher than t-table (2.048) at α 0.05 with df= 28.
