iii ABSTRAK
Telah dilakukan suatu penelitian tentang analisis ketebalan filter, daya serta jarak yang digunakan antara safelight dengan film radiografi untuk meminimalisir fog.
Jarak yang semakin dekat antara safelight dengan film radiografi dan ketebalan filter yang semakin tipis dan daya safelight yang semakin besar dapat mempengaruhi timbulnya kenaikan densitas fog pada film. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode eksperimen yang dilakukan di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Sidikalang.Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai hasil pengukuran densitas fog film pada daya 5 watt dan 15 watt dengan variasi ketebalan filter 1 mm sampai 6 mm dan jarak 40 cm sampai 120 cm. Dari perbandingan tersebut diperoleh densitas fog minimal pada daya 5 watt, tebal filter 6 mm dan jarak 120 cm.
iv ABSTRACT
There was an observation about the analysis of filter thickness, capacity and distance which use between safelight and radiography film minimize fog.
The distance which almost close by between safelight with radiography film and filter thickness that getting thin than safelight capasity that getting larger could influence the appearence of density fog increasing on the film, this observation was qualitatif observation with experimen method that had done in the publik hospital of sidikalang. From the observation was found the resu't value in counting fog density film on 5 watt capacity and 15 capacity. And there variation of filter thickness was 1 mm until 6 mm and the distance was 40 cm until 120 cm. From that ratio was found that minimal fog density an 5 watt cavacity, filter thickness was 6 mm and the distance was 120 cm.
