Vision

The vision of Mathematic and Natural Sciences Faculty is to be an advanced and independent Faculty on the fields of education, research and science application in 2010

Mission

1. Conducting education to create excellent and competitive graduates for labor market 2. Conducting lectures of quality subjects

3. Conducting research projects to produce scientific publications which are essential for development of sciences and management of local potencies

4. Application and dissemination of research outcomes which are related to local resources for community welfare

5.

Conducting accountable and transparent management

Competency

1. Competent in mathematic, natural sciences, and health sciences, so can be independent, competitive in labor market, and able to pursue higher education in mathematic, natural sciences, health sciences, and their applied study fields 2. Conducting research in mathematic, natural sciences, and health sciences, to

contribute to the development of those fields of study 3. Applying research results to the welfare of human being

The faculty has 8 Study Programs, namely:

Vision

To make the Engineering Faculty as an advanced, independent, professional and globally oriented faculty, which all its components are responsive to the changes in the society

Mission

1. Conducting education and teaching in the fields of engineering, in a conducive environment

2. Conducting research on local natural resources, and managing the resources sustainably and environmental oriented

3. Conducting community services and maximizing the roles of human and

laboratory resources in the Engineering Faculty

4. Developing potencies of human resources, and education and research facilities in the Engineering Faculty

5. Building institution partners, both government and non-government, locally, regionally, nationally, or internationally

The ultimate goals for education programs in the Engineering Faculty are to produce:

1. Graduates with high personal integrity

2. Graduates who have professional ethics and improved leadership

3. Graduates who are able to work and/or continue their education to higher degrees

4. Graduates who are able to withstand in all situations and conditions on the engineering fields and have high self confidence and matured judgments

5. Graduates with intellectual, social and cultural motivations that in the line of the development of science and technology

6. Graduates with high capability of handling problems in engineering science, and who have analytical thinking in handling problems, without losing their specificity

1. To continuously improve the quality of education

2. To improve the quality and quantity of research findings and community services as well as the publications in science and technology.

3. To improve accountability and transparency in the management of the

Postgraduate Program through effective monitoring and evaluation.

4. To improve the disciplinary, productivity, staff welfare, and the quality of services to the student.

5. To improve the roles of alumni in developing Postgraduate Program.

To upgrade the accreditation of existing study programs and to open new Masters and PhD Programs.

To strengthen partnership with various higher institutions, donating agents, the government, and NGOs.
