Previously, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) ensured that around 100 coal companies, consisting of companies holding Contracts of Work for Coal Mining Companies (PKP2B) and Special Mining Business Permits for Production Operations (IUPK OP) had submitted a revised Work Plan and Budget (RKAB) to spur an increase in production. This RKAB revision was carried out because the government added a production quota of 75 million tons in April 2021 for exports. As a result, with the revised RKAB, the total production increase is expected to reach 625 million tons from the previous 550 million tons. PT Golden Energy Mines Tbk (GEMS) has opened up about its coal production target after revising the 2021 RKAB. GEMS targets production of 39.6 million tons of coal from the original RKAB target of 33.4 million tons.

GEMS Corporate Secretary, Sudin Sudirman, said the capacity of the equip-ment available from the start was 34 million tons. "So that the addition to the production target compared to the previous one is only about 6%, therefore the fulfillment of equipment needs can be adjusted to the new target set," he explained to Kontan.co.id, Monday (2/8).

EJUMLAH perusahaan tambang batubara telah menyiapkan strategi untuk mencapai target produksi yang sebelumnya telah direvisi menjadi lebih tinggi di tahun ini. Sebelumnya, Kementerian Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM) memastikan

ada sekitar 100 perusahaan batubara, terdiri dari perusahaan pemegang kontrak Perjan-jian Karya Perusahaan Pertambangan Batu-bara (PKP2B) dan Izin Usaha Pertambangan

Khusus Operasi Produksi (IUPK OP) telah mengajukan revisi Rencana Kerja dan Anggaran Belanja (RKAB) untuk memacu kenaikan produksi.

Revisi RKAB ini dilakukan lantaran pemerintah menambah kuota produksi sebesar 75 juta ton pada April 2021 untuk ekspor. Alhasil, dengan adanya revisi RKAB ini, maka total kenaikan produksi yang diharapkan bisa mencapai sebesar 625 juta ton dari yang sebelumnya 550 juta ton. PT Golden Energy Mines Tbk (GEMS) sudah buka-bukaan mengenai target produksi batubara setelah merevisi RKAB 2021. GEMS menargetkan produksi sebanyak 39,6 juta ton batubara dari target RKAB semula sebesar 33,4 juta ton.

Sekretaris Perusahaan GEMS, Sudin Sudirman mengatakan kapasitas alat yang tersedia sejak awal sebesar 34 juta ton. "Sehingga penambahan dengan target produksi dibandingkan sebelumnya hanya sekitar 6%, maka dari itu pemenuhan kebutuhan alat dapat disesuaikan dengan target baru yang ditetapkan," jelasnya kepada Kontan.co.id, Senin (2/8).

PTBA Corporate Secretary Apollonius Andwie said PTBA's projected target this year was influenced by several factors, including the weather factor with the decrease in the frequency of rainfall which could increase working hours.

"In addition, Bukit Asam has also added equipment based on the readiness of the operational mine area," he explained when contacted separately.

Meanwhile, in the first semester of 2021, Apollonius revealed that PTBA had realized coal production reaching 13.27 million tons.

According to Kontan.co.id's calculations, the realization of PTBA's production in the 6 months of this year reached around 44.23% of the target.

PT Harum Energy Tbk (HRUM) also stated that the production target increased by 30% from last year's acquisition. Prior to the revision, HRUM was aiming for 25% growth.

Seiring dengan kenaikan volume produksi, Sudin berharap bahwa harga komoditas batubara bisa terus stabil di sepanjang 2021. Pihaknya optimistis dengan ber-tambahnya capaian target produksi dapat mencapai kinerja 2021 melampaui pen-capaian 2020.

PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) juga sudah mencanangkan peningkatan produksi batubara di sepanjang tahun ini. Setelah merevisi RKAB 2021, PTBA membidik target produksi sebanyak 30 juta ton dari yang sebelumnya 29,5 juta ton.

Sekretaris Perusahaan PTBA Apollonius Andwie mengatakan, proyeksi target PTBA tahun ini dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, di antaranya adalah faktor cuaca dengan turunnya frekuensi curah hujan yang bisa meningkatkan jam kerja.

"Selain itu, Bukit Asam juga telah melaku-kan penambahan peralatan berdasarmelaku-kan kesiapan lahan tambang operasional," jelasnya saat dihubungi terpisah.

Adapun, pada semester I 2021, Apollonius mengungkapkan PTBA telah merealisasi-kan produksi batubara mencapai 13,27 juta ton.

Menurut perhitungan Kontan.co.id, reali-sasi produksi PTBA di 6 bulan tahun ini mencapai sekitar 44,23% dari target. PT Harum Energy Tbk (HRUM) juga menyatakan peningkatan target produksi yakni tumbuh 30% dari perolehan tahun lalu. Sebelum revisi, HRUM membidik pertumbuhan 25%.

Direktur Utama Timah Mochtar Riza Pahlevi menyampaikan, kondisi kinerja perusahaan hingga Juni 2021 cukup positif, meskipun masih banyak hal yang terus dibenahi. Membaiknya kinerja perusahaan ini turut disokong dari membaiknya harga logam.

“Currently, metal prices in the LME are in the range of USD34,500/Mton. We hope that until the end of the year, prices will continue to hold up and even rise. However, as a form of anticipation, we assume the average price this year will be USD22,000/Mton," he explained, Monday (2/8/2021).

With the assumption of the average price, he explained, the issuer codenamed TINS has the opportunity to end this year's performance with a much larger profit. The company also carries out a number of strategies to continuously improve the company's performance. Regarding the performance of metal production, the company hopes that the development of ausmelt is on progress so that in the future metal production will be easier.

"Currently, Ausmelt construction is in the construction stage or 58 percent of the plan. ROFIT of PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO) managed to grow 29.8% in the first half of 2021 to US$ 11.76 million compared to the same period last year of US$ 9.06 million. "The increase in the company's profit was mostly achieved through increased operational activities in the contract mining business line. Total volume of overburden removal increased 26.82% yoy to 58.02 million and coal production increased 25.49% yoy to 15.95 million tons," said President Director of Petrosea, Hanifa Indradjaya in a press release in Jakarta, yesterday.

ABA PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO) berhasil tumbuh 29,8% di paruh pertama 2021 men-jadi US$ 11,76 juta dibandingkan priode yang sama tahun lalu US$ 9,06 juta.

"Kenaikan laba perusahaan sebagian besar dicapai melalui peningkatan kegiatan operasional di lini bisnis kontrak pertam-bangan. Total volume overburden removal meningkat 26,82% yoy menjadi 58,02 juta dan coal production meningkat 25,49% yoy menjadi 15,95 juta ton," kata Presiden Direktur Petrosea, Hanifa Indradjaya dalam siaran persnya di Jakarta, kemarin.

Selain itu, perseroan juga membukukan total pendapatan meningkat 9,89% menjadi US$ 193,30 juta dari sebelumnya hanya US$ 175,90 juta. Sepanjang 2021, emiten pertambangan ini melakukan program transformasi digitalnya secara keseluruhan dengan membangun organisasi yang agile dan memanfaatkan digital tools terkini untuk memungkinkan perusahaan men-dapatkan peluang usaha baru, mengem-bangkan business model baru, serta mem-perkuat kinerja operasional.

T SURVEYOR Indonesia (Persero) mengejar pertumbuhan kinerja penda-patan dan laba bersih sepanjang 2021. Perusahaan jasa survei, inspeksi dan konsultasi plat merah ini menargetkan pendapatan senilai Rp 1,45 triliun.

President Director of PT Surveyor Indonesia (PTSI) Muhammad Haris Witjaksono said that this year's revenue is targeted to grow around 3 percent compared to last year's realization. Throughout 2020, PTSI achieved operating income of Rp 1.41 trillion.

Harris said the COVID-19 pandemic had an impact on the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) service industry. As a result, throughout the past year PTSI has also focused on processes for handling pandemics in the employee sphere while changing operating models.

The strategy launched by PTSI is based on two main things. First, business decentralization, including strengthening competence, capacity and business port-folio. Second, digitizing business processes to improve operational efficiency and minimize risk.

"We developed a sizeable investment in information technology so that operations can run well, adapting to a situation that is developing very quickly. So we ensure that services can be carried out without disappointing customers," said Harris at the 30th Anniversary of PT Surveyor Indonesia's media conference which was held Monday (2/8).

With this strategy, from the realization of revenue of Rp. 1.41 trillion, PTSI was able to achieve a net profit of Rp. 102 billion in the period 2020. In terms of its business segment, survey services became the largest contributor to revenue last year with a value of Rp. 480.1 billion.

Followed by inspection services of Rp 398.7 billion, verification services (Rp 290.7 billion), consulting services (Rp 163.45 billion), certification services (Rp 66.1 billion) and testing services (Rp 19.9 billion).

"Kami mengembangkan investasi yang cukup besar di bidang teknologi informasi agar operasional bisa berjalan dengan baik, beradaptasi dengan situasi yang berkem-bang sangat cepat. Sehingga kami me-mastikan pelayanan bisa terselenggara tanpa mengecewakan pelanggan," kata Harris dalam media conference 30 Tahun PT Surveyor Indonesia yang digelar Senin (2/8).

Dengan strategi tersebut, dari realisasi pendapatan senilai Rp 1,41 triliun, PTSI mampu meraih laba bersih sebesar Rp 102 miliar pada periode 2020. Dilihat dari segmen usahanya, jasa survey menjadi penyumbang pendapatan terbesar pada tahun lalu dengan nilai Rp 480,1 miliar. Disusul oleh jasa inspeksi sebesar Rp 398,7 miliar, jasa verifikasi (Rp 290,7 miliar), jasa konsultasi (Rp 163,45 miliar), jasa sertifikasi (Rp 66,1 miliar) dan jasa testing (Rp 19,9 miliar).

Meanwhile, if detailed from the service user sector, oil & gas (oil and gas) and power generation systems contributed the most by contributing 41.1%. Next came from the institutional and institutional strengthening sector (21.9%), the mineral and coal sector (19.5%), and the infra-structure sector (17.6%).

Referring to the results of the KPMG study, the market value of TIC in Indonesia in 2020 is US$ 602.8 million. Based on this projection, PTSI had a market share of 17.14% in the Indonesian TIC industry last year.

Meanwhile, for this year, Harris explained that PTSI's focus and strategy still refers to the Company's Long Term Plan (RJPP) for 2020-2024, which has been aligned with the strategic plan or survey service cluster master plan.

PTSI's service segment includes the oil and gas sector and power generation systems, mineral and coal, infrastructure, and

institutional and institutional strengthening. Other sectors that are targeted for market development and strategic partnerships are

the information sector, communication technology (ICT), environment and agriculture, food and health, new and renewable energy, and transportation infrastructure.

"A number of sectors such as the environment, food and health will never run out, will continue to emerge and develop following the economic growth, purchasing power and welfare of our people," said Harris.

With a survey service holding expected to be formed this year, developments in the geospatial, mapping, Internet of Think (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) service segments will be the focus of future business growth.

Merujuk pada hasil kajian KPMG, nilai pasar TIC di Indonesia pada tahun 2020 sebesar US$ 602,8 juta. Berdasarkan proyeksi tersebut, PTSI memiliki market share sebanyak 17,14% di industri TIC Indonesia pada tahun lalu.

Sementara untuk tahun ini, Harris men-jelaskan bahwa fokus dan strategi PTSI masih mengacu pada Rencana Jangka Panjang Perusahaan (RJPP) tahun 2020-2024, yang telah diselaraskan dengan rencana strategi atau master plan klaster jasa survei.

Segmen layanan PTSI mencakup sektor migas dan sistem pembangkit, minerba, infrastruktur, dan penguatan institusi dan kelembagaan. Sektor lain yang menjadi target pasar dan pengembangan strategic

partnerships adalah sektor informastion, communication tecnology (ICT), lingkungan

dan agrikultur, makanan dan kesehatan, energi baru dan terbarukan, serta infra-struktur transportasi.

"Sejumlah sektor seperti lingkungan, makanan dan kesehatan tidak akan pernah habis, akan terus muncul dan berkembang mengikuti pertumbuhan ekonomi, daya beli dan kesejahteraan masyarakat kita," kata Harris.

Pengembangan lainnya juga akan dilakukan pada jasa yang terkait Lembaga Pemeriksa Halal (LPH). Dengan holding jasa survei yang diperkirakan segera terbentuk pada tahun ini, pengembangan pada segmen jasa geospasial, pemetaan, Internet of Think (IoT) dan Artificial Intellegence (AI) bakal menjadi fokus pertumbuhan bisnis ke depan.

With a number of strategies prepared, Harris is optimistic that the Rp 1.45 trillion revenue target can be achieved. Through this achievement, PTSI also pursued a net profit of Rp 154.4 billion or could grow 51.3% compared to last year's net profit realization.

Until the first semester, PTSI posted revenue of Rp 670 billion or 46.2% of the target. This figure grew by 3% compared to the realization of revenue in the first semester of 2020. Adapun laba bersih yang berhasil diraih PTSI pada Semeter I-2021 sebesar Rp 81 miliar. Melonjak 61% di-bandingkan laba bersih PTSI pada Semester I-2020.

ICKEL production during the first semester of 2021 decreased, especially for nickel pig iron (NPI) and nickel matte products when compared to the first semester of 2020. However, different conditions occurred in ferronickel production, which increased in January-June 2021.

In detail, BOP production in the first semester of 2021 reached 358,400 tons, a decrease of 14.4% when compared to BOP production in the first semester of 2020 which was recorded at 418,590 tons. When compared with this year's target of 901,080 tons, it means that production in the first half of this year has only reached 39.77% of the target. This achievement is also lower than the achievement in the first semester of 2020 which was recorded at 66.61% of the 2020 target of 628,354 tons. RODUKSI nikel sepanjang semester I 2021 mengalami penurunan, terutama untuk produk nickel pig iron (NPI) dan nickel matte jika dibandingkan dengan semester I 2020. Namun kondisi berbeda terjadi pada produksi feronikel yang mengalami kenaikan pada Januari-Juni 2021 ini.

Secara rinci, produksi NPI semester I 2021 mencapai 358.400 ton, turun 14,4% bila dibandingkan dengan produksi NPI pada semester I 2020 yang tercatat sebesar 418.590 ton.

Bila dibandingkan dengan target tahun ini sebesar 901.080 ton, artinya produksi paruh pertama tahun ini baru mencapai 39,77% dari target. Capaian ini juga lebih rendah dibandingkan capaian semester I 2020 yang tercatat mencapai 66,61% dari target 2020 sebesar 628.354 ton.

This was stated in PwC's 18th Annual Review of the Top 40 Mining companies - Mine 2021 - which examines global trends in the mining industry. In the report, net profit in the sector rose 15%, cash on hand rose 40%, and market capitalization rose nearly two-thirds to US$1.46 trillion. There are signs of continued optimism for 2021, as forecasts suggest that the top 40 will report the highest ever earnings and EBITDA levels and the second-highest net profit on record.

Simultaneously, the demand for minerals entering clean energy technologies is expected to increase 6-fold in the next 20 years.

The survey also revealed that the coal production of the Big 40 fell 12% in 2020. Transactions fell from five in 2018 to zero in 2019 and 2020, highlighting the sector's continued shift towards net zero emissions.

Paul Bendall, Global Leader, Mining & Metals, PwC Australia, said the global mining sector has demonstrated resilience and agility in adapting its operations during the pandemic.

"Plus, the drive towards environmental sustainability has created a volatile landscape for mining companies, but also presents opportunities for true trans-formational change," he explained in an official statement, Monday (2/8).

Tax transparency is very important for ESG

Although tax transparency is a fundamental way for companies to demonstrate their commitment to ESG issues, only 30% of the 40 Big Companies adopted tax transparency reporting in 2020.

Hal ini disampaikan dalam PwC’s 18th Annual Review of the Top 40 Mining companies - Mine 2021 - yang mengkaji tren global dalam industri pertambangan. Dalam laporan tersebut, laba bersih di sektor ini naik 15%, cash on hand naik 40%, dan kapitalisasi pasar naik hampir dua pertiga menjadi US$1,46 triliun.

Ada tanda-tanda kelanjutan optimisme untuk tahun 2021, seiring perkiraan yang menunjuk-kan bahwa 40 besar amenunjuk-kan melapormenunjuk-kan rekor pendapatan dan tingkat EBITDA tertinggi dan rekor laba bersih tertinggi kedua.

Bersamaan dengan itu, permintaan mineral yang masuk ke teknologi energi bersih diperkirakan akan meningkat 6 kali lipat dalam 20 tahun ke depan.

Meskipun transparansi pajak adalah cara mendasar bagi perusahaan untuk menun-jukkan komitmennya terhadap isu-isu ESG, hanya 30% dari 40 Perusahaan Besar yang mengadopsi pelaporan transparansi pajak pada tahun 2020.

The report further finds that 39% of CEOs of mining and metals companies are particularly concerned about uncertainty in tax policy, more than double last year's figure (18%). This poses long-term risks for the sector.

Tax transparency, which is one of ESG's key metrics, gives mining companies the opportunity to highlight their significant financial contribution to society and the resulting improvements in education, infrastructure and quality of life.

Sacha Winzenried, PwC Indonesia Mining Advisor, said the themes presented in the PwC - Mine 2021 Report are highly relevant to Indonesian mining companies as they move into the next phase of their evolution.

"Customers, employees, communities, governments and suppliers now expect companies to create sustainable value. Mining companies must embrace tax transparency as an essential part of their ESG strategy," he said.

Sacha further explained that tax transparency will support the mining sector to be more transparent about the taxes and rents paid and the social benefits provided by these contributions, especially in the remote areas where they operate.

TOTAL of 178 oxygen cylinders and 50 regulators were distributed by PT Antam Tbk (Antam). The distribution of oxygen and regulators is carried out as Antam's effort to accelerate the handling of Covid-19 cases, which have experienced a spike in recent weeks, including around the operational area.

Antam's Corporate Secretary, Yulan Kustiyan said, the distribution of oxygen cylinders and regulators was Antam's real step in assisting the handling of Covid-19. “In this condition, hospitals, health centers, and health facilities are starting to be overwhelmed with handling patients due to difficulties in accessing oxygen. It is hoped that the distribution of oxygen cylinders and regulators around the company's operational areas can help meet the needs of oxygen and regulators for patients in need," said Yulan in a written press statement, Tuesday (3/8).

Yulan said that Antam is currently distributing oxygen cylinders in several areas such as West Kalimantan with 88 6m3 tubes, Bogor Regency with 10 6m3 tubes, East Halmahera with 10 6m3 tubes. "We have also distributed 70 60m3 tubes and 50 regulators for the Kolaka and Konawe Utara areas, Southeast Sulawesi," he added.

He continued, Antam's distribution of oxygen cylinders began on July 19, 2021, in collaboration with key stakeholders such as the Covid-19 Task Force, puskesmas, hospitals and universities.

EBANYAK 178 tabung oksigen dan 50 regulator didistribusikan PT Antam Tbk (Antam). Pendistribusian oksigen dan regulator dilakukan sebagai upaya Antam mempercepat penanganan kasus Covid-19 yang mengalami lonjakan beberapa pekan ini, termasuk di sekitar wilayah operasi. Sekretaris Perusahaan Antam, Yulan Kustiyan menyebut, penyaluran tabung oksigen dan regulator ini merupakan langkah nyata Antam dalam membantu penanganan Covid-19. “Dalam kondisi ini, rumah sakit, puskesmas, dan fasilitas kesehatan mulai kewalahan menangani pasien akibat kesulitan akses oksigen. Diharapkan dengan pendistribusian tabung oksigen dan regulator di sekitar wilayah operasi perusahaan, dapat mem-bantu pemenuhan kebutuhan oksigen dan regulator bagi pasien yang membutuhkan,” kata Yulan dalam keterangan pers tertulis, Selasa (3/8).

Yulan menyebut, saat ini pendistribusian tabung oksigen dilakukan Antam di beberapa wilayah seperti Kalimantan Barat sebanyak 88 tabung 6m3, Kabupaten Bogor 10 tabung 6m3, Halmahera Timur 10 tabung 6m3. “Kami juga menyalurkan 70 tabung 60m3 serta 50 regulator untuk di wilayah Kolaka dan Konawe Utara, Sulawesi Tenggara,” tambahnya.

Ia melanjutkan, penyaluran tabung oksigen yang dilakukan Antam dimulai sejak 19 Juli 2021, bekerja sama dengan key stakeholder seperti Satgas Covid-19, puskesmas, rumah sakit maupun universitas.

Meanwhile, Antam is currently preparing 50 additional oxygen cylinders to be distributed in the Kolaka and North Konawe areas, Southeast Sulawesi. "We are also preparing additional oxygen cylinders in Pomalaa to ensure that the needs there can be met," said Yulan.

Yulan also said that the distribution of oxygen cylinders and regulators is an implementation of the Superior Synergy Pillar listed in Antam's CSR Masterplan which aims to encourage the improvement of the quality of public health. "We are committed to continuing to support the Government and the community in accelerating the handling of the pandemic, especially around the company's operational areas," he said.

Sementara itu, saat ini Antam juga sedang menyiapkan 50 tabung oksigen tambahan untuk disalurkan di wilayah Kolaka dan Konawe Utara, Sulawesi Tenggara. “Kami juga sedang menyiapkan tabung oksigen tambahan di Pomalaa guna memastikan kebutuhan di sana dapat tercukupi,” papar Yulan.

Yulan juga menyampaikan bahwa penya-luran tabung oksigen dan regulator ini merupakan implementasi Pilar Sinergi Unggul yang tercantum dalam Masterplan CSR Antam yang bertujuan untuk men-dorong peningkatan kualitas kesehatan masyarakat. “Kami berkomitmen untuk terus mendukung Pemerintah dan masya-rakat dalam percepatan penanganan Pandemi terutama di sekitar wilayah operasi perusahaan,” tuturnya.

As information obtained from the 2020 Gold Silver Mine Booklet issued by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Indonesia is listed as being ranked 5th as a country with the largest gold reserves in the world. Indonesia has 2,600 Tons of Au, or about 5% of the world's total gold reserves of 50,300 Tons of Au. Meanwhile, the countries with the largest gold reserves are Australia (20%), Russia (11%), South Africa (6%), America (6%), and Brazil (5%).

Meanwhile, the country with the largest gold mining production and gold consumption in the world is China, which accounts for 13% of total global gold production and 32% of total global gold consumption.

The global gold commodity itself is dominated for jewelry making and invest-ment. According to data from Resources and Energy Quaterly Copper as of June 2020, as much as 49% of global gold or almost half of it is used for jewelry making, 29% is used as investment in bars and coins, 15% for Central Banks and other related agencies, and 7% is used as a technology advocate. This amount is, of course, greatly influenced by the fluctuations in world gold prices, thus affecting the rise and fall of consumer demand. For example, in 2019, higher world gold prices resulted in a decline in consumer demand in the jewelry sector. Seperti informasi yang didapat dari Booklet Tambang Emas Perak 2020 yang dikeluarkan oleh Kementerian Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM), Indonesia tercatat sebagai peringkat Ke-5 sebagai negara dengan cadangan emas terbesar didunia. Indonesia memiliki 2.600 Ton Au, atau sekitar 5% dari total cadangan emas dunia yang mencapai 50.300 Ton Au. Sedangkan negara yang memiliki cadangan emas terbesar secara berturut-turut adalah Australia (20%), Rusia (11%), Afrika Selatan (6%), Amerika (6%), dan Brazil (5%).

Sementara itu, negara dengan produksi pertambangan emas dan konsumsi emas terbesar didunia adalah China, yaitu mencapai 13% dari total produksi emas global dan 32% dari total konsumsi emas global.

Komoditas emas global sendiri didominasi untuk pembuatan perhiasan dan investasi. Menurut data dari Resources and Energy Quaterly Tembaga per Juni 2020, sebanyak 49% emas global atau hampir setengahnya digunakan sebagai pembuatan perhiasan, 29% digunakan sebagai investasi berupa bar dan koin, 15% untuk Bank Sentral dan instansi yang berkaitan lainnya, dan 7% digunakan sebagai penyokong teknologi. Besaran ini tentunya sangat dipengaruhi oleh naik turunnya harga emas dunia, sehingga memengaruhi naik turunnya permintaan konsumen. Misalnya pada tahun 2019, harga emas dunia lebih tinggi sehinga berdampak pada penurunan permintaan konsumen di sektor perhiasan.

Berdasarkan data Badan Geologi pada Tahun 2019, total cadangan emas nasional tersebar di seluruh wilayah Indonesia, terutama di wilayah Indonesia bagian timur. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya salah satu perusahaan tambang emas terbesar di Indonesia, PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) yang menguasai Izin Usaha Pertambangan (IUP) di dataran Papua. According to data from the Directorate General of Mineral and Coal, DBM and RKAB Antam LM in 2020, Indonesia has 142 Mining Business Permits (IUP/IUPK), and Contracts of Work (KK), and 1 gold and silver refining plant. The government itself continues to encourage the improvement of the mining industry, where one of its efforts is to abolish the Value Added Tax (VAT) of granules as gold raw material as stipulated in Government Regulation (PP) No. 70 of 2021 concerning the Delivery of Certain Strategic Taxable Goods that are Not Collected by Value Added Tax. This is also based on the fact that these minerals are one of the supporters of state revenue. At least in 2020, according to the 2020 Work Plan and Budget (RKAB), the state receives a tax from gold and silver companies of Rp. 3.5 Trillion and Non-Tax State Income of Rp. 1.9 Trillion with a Fixed Contribution percentage of 3% and a Royalty of 97% with a financial assumption of 1 USD of Rp. 15,000.

Adapun secara umum industri disektor ini

dimulai dari penambangan bijih yang meng-andung emas, kemudian diolah menjadi Dore Bullion yang merupakan batangan logam yang

belum murni karena masih mengandung campuran mineral lain seperti perak dan

tembaga. Kemudian batangan ini diproses untuk memisahkan kandungan mineral lainnya dengan mineral utama yaitu emas, sehingga menghasilkan emas murni. Di Indonesia, peng-gunaan logam mulia masih berkutat di sektor perhiasan dan investasi.

Pemerintah sendiri terus mendorong pening-katan industri pertambangan ini, di mana salah satu usahanya adalah dengan menghapuskan Pajak Penambahan Nilai (PPN) granula sebagai bahan baku emas yang tertuang di Peraturan Pemerintah (PP) No. 70 Tahun 2021 tentang Penyerahan Barang Kena Pajak Tertentu yang Bersifat Strategis yang Tidak Dipungut Pajak Pertambahan Nilai. Hal tersebut juga didasari karena bahan tambang ini menjadi salah satu penyokong pendapatan negara. Setidaknya pada Tahun 2020, menurut Rencana Kerja dan Anggaran Biaya (RKAB) 2020, negara menerima pajak dari perusahaan emas dan perak sebesar Rp. 3,5 Triliun dan Penghasilan Negara Bukan Pajak sebesar RP. 1,9 Triliun dengan persentase Iuran Tetap sebesar 3% dan Royalti sebesar 97% dengan asumsi keuangan 1 USD sebesar Rp. 15.000.

FTER experiencing a rally for days, finally coal prices fell as well. The struggle to set a new record is getting tougher. Yesterday, the price of coal on the ICE Newcastle (Australia) market was recorded at US$ 147.5/ton. Down 3.44% compared to the previous day.

Coal prices had risen for six trading days in a row. In those six days, the increase reached 4.12%.

However, despite having risen for six days in a row, prices have not been able to touch the highest record since 2008 at US$ 153.7/ton which was reached on July 19, 2021. The reoccurrence of the correction has made the attempt to set a new record even more difficult.

Well, the future of coal itself is not bright. Various financial institutions have reduced the portion of financing for the construction of coal-fired power plants because they are considered environ-mentally unfriendly.

Recently, Reuters reported that Prudential, Citi, HSBC, and BlackRock Real Assets are working to accelerate the financing scheme for the Steam Power Plant (PLTU) so that it can be completed soon. This is done to reduce the portion of PLTU financing which leaves a lot of carbon footprints. The plan, financing will be limited to only 15 years. This is to give time so that the PLTU workers can retire first or look for work elsewhere.

ETELAH menjalani reli selama berhari-hari, akhirnya harga batu bara turun juga. Perjuangan untuk membuat rekor baru semakin berat.

Kemarin, harga batu bara di pasar ICE

Newcastle (Australia) tercatat US$ 147.5/ton.

Anjlok 3,44% dibandingkan hari sebelumnya.

Harga batu bara sempat naik selama enam hari perdagangan beruntun. Dalam enam

hari tersebut, kenaikannya mencapai 4,12%.

Namun walau sudah naik enam hari ber-turut-turut, harga belum bisa menyentuh rekor tertinggi sejak 2008 yaitu US$ 153,7/ton yang dicapai pada 19 Juli 2021. Koreksi yang kembali terjadi membuat upaya untuk mencatatkan rekor baru semakin berat.

Well, masa depan batu bara sendiri memang

kurang cerah. Berbagai lembaga keuangan sudah mengurang porsi pembiayaan pem-bangunan pembangkit listrik bertenaga batu bara karena dinilai tidak ramah ling-kungan.

Teranyar, Reuters mengabarkan bahwa Prudential, Citi, HSBC, dan BlackRock Real Assets berupaya mempercepat skema pembiayaan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Uap (PLTU) supaya bisa segera selesai. Ini dilakukan untuk mengurangi porsi pem-biayaan PLTU yang banyak meninggalkan jejak karbon.

Rencananya, pembiayaan akan dibatasi hanya selama 15 tahun. Ini untuk memberi waktu agar para pekerja PLTU bisa pensiun dulu atau mencari pekerjaan di tempat lain.
