ABSTRACT
IDA HAERIDA. Lejeuneaceae Subfamily Ptychanthoideae (Hepaticae) in West Java. Supervised by SRI SUDARMIYATI TJITROSOEDIRDJO and JOHANIS PALAR MOGEA.
Subfamily Ptychanthoideae of the family Lejeuneaceae (Hepaticae) in West Java is still poorly known. The study of Ptychanthoideae in this area indicate that 24 species, 8 genera occur in this area. They are Acrolejeunea (Spruce) Schiffn. (2 species), Archilejeunea (Spruce) Schiffn. (1 species), Lopholejeunea (Spruce) Schiffn. (10 species), Mastigolejeunea (Spruce) Schiffn. (3 species), Ptychanthus Nees (1 species), Schiffneriolejeunea Verd. (1 species), Spruceanthus Verd. (2 species) and Thysananthus Lindenb. (4 species). The presence of Mastigolejeunea indica and Thysananthus minor is newly reported for Java. The altitudinal and geographical ranges of the species of Ptychanthoideae from West Java are provided. This paper contains keys to the species, descriptions, and illustrations of the taxa.

IDA HAERIDA. Lumut Hati (Hepaticae) Anak Suku Ptychanthoideae Suku Lejeuneaceae di Jawa Barat. Dibimbing oleh SRI SUDARMIYATI TJITROSOEDIRDJO dan JOHANIS PALAR MOGEA.
Informasi mengenai keberadaan lumut hati Ptychanthoideae di Jawa Barat belum memadai, sehingga penelaahan mengenai jenis-jenis tersebut di kawasan ini sangat diperlukan. Kajian mengenai lumut hati anak suku Ptychanthoideae di Jawa Barat menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 24 jenis lumut tersebut yang terdiri dari 8 marga di kawasan ini. Marga-marga tersebut adalah Acrolejeunea (Spruce) Schiffn. (2 jenis), Archilejeunea (Spruce) Schiffn. (1 jenis), Lopholejeunea (Spruce) Schiffn. (10 jenis), Mastigolejeunea (Spruce) Schiffn. (3 jenis), Ptychanthus Nees (1 jenis), Schiffneriolejeunea Verd. (1 jenis), Spruceanthus Verd. (2 jenis) and Thysananthus Lindenb. (4 jenis). Keberadaan Mastigolejeunea indica dan Thysananthus minor di Jawa Barat adalah sebagai rekaman baru untuk kawasan ini. Pada tulisan ini disajikan pula distribusi jenis-jenis Ptychanthoideae berdasarkan ketinggian tempat serta geografinya. Selain itu disajikan pula kunci identifikasi, deskripsi serta gambar-gambar untuk masing-masing jenis.

SUMMARY

Subfamily Ptychanthoideae of the family Lejeuneaceae (Hepaticae) in West Java is still poorly known. Publications on this subfamily are out of dated and written in the 19th or early of 20th century.
The last taxonomic treatment of Ptychanthoideae of West Java was in 1933, many species names have changed since then. Studies on Ptychanthoideae of West Java are urgently needed.
Studies on the Ptychanthoideae were based on the specimens collected from West Java. A total number of 361 of specimens deposited in the Herbarium Bogoriense (BO), Herbarium Biotrop (BIOT), Gottingen Herbarium (GOET) and Bangi Herbarium (UKMB) were examined, those are old and several recent specimens collected in West Java. Recent collections were made from Telaga Warna, Ciater, Gunung Halimun Salak National Park, Cibodas Botanical Garden, Bodogol Education Center and Conservation (Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park), University of Indonesia Campus Depok, including several collections from Banten Province.
Twenty four species of Lejeuneaceae subfamily Ptychanthoideae are known from West Java, belonging to 8 genera namely Acrolejeunea (Spruce) Schiffn. (2 species), Archilejeunea (Spruce) Schiffn. (1 species), Lopholejeunea (Spruce) Schiffn. (10 species), Mastigolejeunea (Spruce) Schiffn. (3 species), Ptychanthus Nees (1 species), Schiffneriolejeunea Verd. (1 species), Spruceanthus Verd. (2 species) and Thysananthus Lindenb. (4 species). Two new records of Ptychanthoideae: Mastigolejeunea indica Steph. and Thysananthus minor Verdoorn are reported for Java. A determination key to the species is presented including their descriptions and illustrations.

Informasi mengenai lumut hati (Hepaticae) anak suku Ptychanthoideae di Jawa Barat belum memadai. Publikasi yang tersedia ditulis pada abad ke-19 atau awal abad ke-20 oleh beberapa penulis. Karenanya nama-nama ilmiah lumut ini sudah kadaluarsa, sehingga saat ini kajian taksonomi mengenai lumut ini sangat diperlukan.
Metode taksonomi yang digunakan adalah mengacu pada metode revisi. Penelitian ini menggunakan sebanyak 361 koleksi spesimen dari Herbarium Bogoriense (BO), Herbarium Biotrop (BIOT), serta beberapa duplikat dari Herbarium Gottingen (GOET) dan Herbarium Bangi (UKMB). Koleksi terbaru dikumpulkan dari beberapa lokasi seperti Telaga Warna, Ciater, Gunung Halimun Salak National Park, Cibodas Botanical Garden, Pusat Pendidikan dan Konservasi Alam Bodogol (Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park), Kampus Universitas Indonesia Depok. Beberapa koleksi dari Provinsi Banten juga diamati mengingat provinsi ini sebelumnya tergabung dalam Provinsi Jawa Barat. Hal ini disebabkan karena kajian taksonomi ini meliputi Jawa bagian barat sehingga Provinsi Banten termasuk di dalamnya.
Dua puluh empat jenis lumut Lejeuneaceae anak suku Ptychanthoideae diperoleh dari Jawa Barat. Seluruhnya terdiri dari 8 marga yaitu Acrolejeunea (Spruce) Schiffn. (2 jenis), Archilejeunea (Spruce) Schiffn. (1 jenis), Lopholejeunea (Spruce) Schiffn. (10 jenis), Mastigolejeunea (Spruce) Schiffn. (3 jenis), Ptychanthus Nees (1 jenis), Schiffneriolejeunea Verd. (1 jenis), Spruceanthus Verd. (2 jenis) and Thysananthus Lindenb. (4 jenis). Dua jenis diantaranya yaitu Mastigolejeunea indica Steph. dan Thysananthus minor Verdoorn merupakan rekaman baru untuk Jawa. Pada tulisan ini disajikan kunci determinasi, deskripsi serta ilustrasi dari masing-masing takson.
