Dipuasakan selama ± 18 jam, tetap diberi minum

Dibagi lima kelompok dan masing-masing diberi perlakuan secara peroral

30 menit kemudian masing-masing kaki tikus dari setiap kelompok diinduksi dengan 0,1 ml karagenan 1% secara subplantar

Diukur volume kaki tikus dengan mencelupkan kaki tikus sampai batas yang telah ditandai pada mata kaki ke dalam alat pletismometer

- Tiap tablet natrium diklofenak mengandung 25 mg natrium diklofenak - Dosis maksimum untuk manusia dewasa = 25 – 50 mg

- Syarat volume maksimum larutan sediaan uji yang diberikan pada hewan uji tikus (200 g) secara peroral (p.o.) adalah 5,0 ml (Lampiran 5) - Konversi dosis manusia (70 kg) ke dosis hewan uji tikus dikali 0,018

Pemberian larutan natrium diklofenak

a. Dosis natrium diklofenak yang diberikan (dalam mg/kg bb) = ( 25 mg- 50 mg)x 0,018

= 0,45 mg - 0,9 mg

Maka dosis natrium diklofenak yang digunakan adalah 0,45 mg untuk tikus 200 g, sehingga dosis dalam mg/kg bb adalah:
