DECISION OF THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF CUSTOMS AND EXCISE NO. KEP-43/BC/2001 DATED JULY 25, 2001
THE USE/INSTALLATION OF BILLBOARDS OF FACTORIES OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS
THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF CUSTOMS AND EXCISE,
Considering :
that in the framework of implementing Article 4 of the Decree of the Minister of Finance No. 104/KMK.05/1997 on the granting and revocation of taxpayer code numbers of manufacturers and importers of tobacco products as well as the approval of production of tobacco products outside factories as well as Article 1 point 2 and Article 14 paragraph (1) of Law No. 11/1995 on excise affairs, it deemed necessary to further regulate the use of billboards of factories of tobacco products by issuing a decision of the Director General of Customs and Excise.
In view of :
1. Law No. 11/1995 on excise affairs (Statute Book of 1995 No. 76, Supplement to Statute Book No. 3613); 2. Government Regulation No. 5/1997 on the supervision over excisable goods (Statute Book of 1997 No. 8,
Supplement to Statute Book No. 3669);
3. Decree of the Minister of Finance No. 104/KMK.05/1997 dated March, 1997 on the granting and revocation of taxpayer code numbers of manufacturers and importers of tobacco products as well as the approval of production of tobacco products outside factories.
DECIDES :
To stipulate :
THE DECISION OF THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF CUSTOMS AND EXCISE ON THE USE/INSTALLATION OF BILLBOARDS OF FACTORIES OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS.
Article 1
Every tobacco product manufacturer shall be obliged to use/install a billboard of tobacco product manufacture in the location of the factory.
Article 2
The model, size, color and content of the writing of the billboard of the tobacco product manufacture as meant in Article 1 shall be in accordance with the specimen stipulated in the attachment to this decision of the Director General of Customs and Excise.
Article 3
The position of the billboard of the tobacco product manufacture as meant in Article 2 shall face to the public road or at least be easy to read from the public road so as to become a means or media of information on the existence of the relevant tobacco product manufacture.
The placement/installation of the billboard of the tobacco product manufacture as meant in Article 2 shall be completed not later than December 31, 2001.
Article 5
The head of local Customs and Excise Service Office shall take further measures in the framework of implementing this decision as well as carrying out supervision accordingly.
Article 6
This decision shall come into force as from the date of stipulation.
For public cognizance, this decision shall be published by placing it in State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia.
