Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh banyaknya keterlambatan laporan-laporan keuangan yang belum dibukukan sehingga berpengaruh terhadap ketepatan waktu pelaporan keuangan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: 1) Mmengetahui pengaruh Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) terhadap Ketepatan Waktu Pelaporan Keuangan. 2) Mengetahui pengaruh Return on Asset (ROA) terhadap Ketepatan Waktu Pelaporan Keuangan. 3) Mengetahui pengaruh Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) dan Return on Asset (ROA) terhadap Ketepatan Waktu Pelaporan Keuangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif. Pengolahan data menggunakan: 1) Uji koefisien korelasi, 2) Uji koefiseian determinasi, 3) Uji regresi ganda, 4) Uji-t, 5) Uji F. Dari hasil analisis data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh hasil penelitian bahwa Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) dan Return on Assets (ROA) secara bersama-sama tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ketepatan waktu pelaporan keuangan pada perusahaan makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Tahun 2018.

This research is based on the many delays in financial reports that have not been recorded so that it affects the timeliness of financial reporting. The objectives of this study are to: 1) Know the effect of the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on the Timeliness of Financial Reporting. 2) Knowing the effect of Return on Assets (ROA) on Timeliness of Financial Reporting. 3) Knowing the effect of Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Return on Assets (ROA) on the Timeliness of Financial Reporting. The research method used is quantitative. Data processing using: 1) correlation coefficient test, 2) determination coefficient test, 3) multiple regression test, 4) t-test, 5) F test. From the results of data analysis in this study, it was found that the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER ) and Return on Assets (ROA) together have no significant effect on the timeliness of financial reporting at food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018.
