EURAXESS Member Austria in Focus
Austria’s economic policy has long since recognised the huge significance of entrepreneurial innovation and has constantly sought to promote innovative entrepreneurial performance with the appropriate support tools. The proportion of companies that enjoy innovation-specific funding is higher in Austria than in all other EU Member States. 2nd Austrian-Singaporean Science and Business Day, 29 & 30 September 2016, Vienna, Austria
The 2nd Austrian-Singaporean Science and Business Day is organised in joint cooperation with the Ambassador of Singapore to Austria, H.E. Soo Kok Leng, A*STAR, the Austrian Research and Promotion Agency and the Austrian Federal Ministry of Science and Research, with support of the Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs and the Austrian Council for Research and Technology Development. ASEA UNI NET: Connecting Europe and Southeast Asia
The ASEAN European Academic University Network (ASEA-UNINET) is a network of universities, consisting of European and South-East Asian universities with the goal of promoting the continuous internationalisation of education and research. ASEA-UNINET was founded in 1994 by universities from Austria, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam as Austrian-South-East Asian University Network and consists today of more than 80 universities from 19 different countries. Austria: IIASA Postdoctoral Fellowships. Next call 5 October 2016
The International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASAconducts policy-oriented research into problems of a global nature using an interdisciplinary approach: Energy and Climate Change, Food and Water, Poverty and Equity. It provides full funding for a number of postdoctoral researchers each year. Scholars conduct their own research on topics closely related to IIASA's research agenda. The fellowships, of a 2-year duration, cover a monthly allowance, relocation expenses and some travel costs. More information here

Austria: Erwin Schrödinger Fellowships. Rolling Deadline.
The purpose of the Erwin Schrödinger Fellowships is to allow young scientists doing research in Austria to perform work stays at leading foreign research institutions. Young and highly qualified scientists of any discipline and nationality currently affiliated with an Austrian research institution may apply for research stays abroad of 10 to 24 months in length (without return phase) or a stay of 16 to 36 months in length (including return phase of 6 to 12 months).
