Simbol dengan tulisan “WASPADA” merupakan petunjuk penting. Tidak memperhatikan petunjuk dapat menyebabkan cedera fatal.

ظ Lakukan pengaturan perangkat pada saat kendaraan dalam keadaan berhenti. Tidak dianjurkan untuk melakukan pengaturan perangkat yang dapat menyebabkan gangguan pada saat mengemudi.

ظ Dilarang melakukan perubahan apapun pada perangkat karena dapat memperpendek usia pakai dan menyebabkan kecelakaan, kebakaran atau sengatan listrik.

CATATAN:

1. Kami merekomendasi ukuran kabel 4 AWG (21 mm2_{) untuk dipergunakan pada}

koneksi daya (+12 Volt) dan ground (GND).

2. Kami merekomendasi ukuran sekring 100 Ampere dengan kualitas yang baik agar menjadi pengaman yang sempurna bagi penguat suara.

WASPADA:

Jika Anda merasa tidak mempunyai kemampuan teknis untuk melakukan instalasi, sebaiknya instalasi dilakukan oleh instalatur audio mobil profesional.

PERINGATAN:

Sebelum instalasi, lepaskan terminal negatif aki (-) untuk mencegah kerusakan pada perangkat, kebakaran atau kemungkinan cedera.

Sebelum melakukan instalasi, ikuti petunjuk berikut:

1. Pastikan untuk membaca dengan cermat dan memahami buku petunjuk penggunaan sebelum mencoba memasang perangkat.

2. Demi keselamatan, lepaskan kabel negatif dari aki sebelum memulai pemasangan.

3. Gunakan hanya komponen berkualitas tinggi untuk semua bagian instalasi. 4. Sedapat mungkin tidak melakukan instalasi yang memerlukan modifikasi pada

bagian kendaraan yang dapat menyebabkan malfungsi operasi.

5. Demi keamanan dan keselamatan, dilarang membuka tutup penguat suara dan atau melakukan modifikasi dalam kondisi apapun. Silakan menghubungi teknisi dealer CRESCENDO untuk perbaikan.

LOKASI INSTALASI

Instalasi Bagasi

Agar perangkat penguat suara dapat bekerja di suhu ideal, instalasi penempatan perangkat di bagian lantai bagasi akan memberikan pendinginan terbaik melalui sirkulasi udara yang memadai.

Instalasi Bawah Kursi

Penempatan perangkat penguat suara di bawah kursi kendaraan sudah cukup memadai untuk penempatan perangkat penguat suara tipe ini.

PEMASANGAN PERANGKAT PENGUAT SUARA

Ketika menentukan lokasi instalasi perangkat penguat suara, selalu ingat bahwa perangkat ini menghasilkan panas. Oleh karena itu, pilih lokasi dimana udara mengalir dengan bebas di sekitar perangkat. Jangan menutup penguat suara dengan karpet, akrilik, atau menyembunyikannya dibalik panel mobil.

Untuk memasang perangkat, pengguna dapat menggunakan baut pada lokasi yang tersedia. Lihat Gambar 1.

PERINGATAN:

Dilarang menutup perangkat penguat suara dengan karpet atau akrilik.

SEKRING

Perangkat penguat suara CRESCENDO REVOLUTION 5A4 tidak dilengkapi sekring internal.

Koneksi kabel daya yang baik akan menghasilkan performa terbaik dari perangkat penguat suara CRESCENDO REVOLUTION 5A4.

Kabel daya negatif atau kabel ground sama pentingnya dengan kabel daya positif sehingga ukurannya harus sama besar.

Rekomendasi ukuran kabel daya untuk REVOLUTION 5A4 adalah 4 AWG (21 mm2_).

Ukuran tersebut adalah ukuran terbesar yang dapat diterima oleh perangkat penguat suara CRESCENDO REVOLUTION 5A4.

Kabel daya positif harus diberi SEKRING dengan jarak maximum 40 cm dari aki utama (lihat Gambar 2). Apabila pengguna memakai aki tambahan, maka aki tersebut harus diberi sekring yang posisinya maximum 40 cm sebelum dan sesudah aki tambahan (Gambar 3).

Ukuran sekring maximum adalah 50 Ampere untuk kabel daya ukuran 8 AWG (8 mm2_{) dan 100 Ampere untuk kabel daya ukuran 4 AWG (21 mm}2_).

PERINGATAN:

Kabel daya positif dari perangkat penguat suara dihubungkan ke aki di proses paling akhir, yaitu setelah semua proses instalasi selesai.

KONEKSI KABEL RCA

Perangkat penguat suara CRESCENDO REVOLUTION 5A4 hanya menerima sinyal tingkat rendah dari digital media player, pemutar compact disc atau pemroses sinyal. Sinyal tingkat rendah tersebut dihantarkan melalui kabel “un-balance” dengan terminasi berbentuk RCA, sehingga sering disebut kabel RCA. Kami merekomendasi kabel RCA dengan terminal sistem kuncian seperti yang dipergunakan oleh kabel performa tinggi merek Harmonic Harmony.

WASPADA:

Pengguna dilarang menghubungkan atau melepas kabel RCA ketika perangkat penguat suara sedang dalam keadaan aktif (ON).

KONEKSI KABEL PEGERAS SUARA

Kabel pengeras suara yang direkomendasi berukuran antara 18 hingga 12 AWG (0.8 hingga 3 mm2_{) untuk perangkat penguat suara CRESCENDO REVOLUTION}

5A4. Ukuran kabel pengeras suara maksimum yang dapat diterima adalah 12 AWG (3 mm2_).

KONEKSI KABEL PENGENDALI

Disarankan memilih kabel pengendali dengan pembungkus bagian luar yang berkualitas untuk menghindari masalah di kemudian hari. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh lingkungan kendaraan yang senantiasa berhadapan dengan cuaca panas, dingin dan getaran yang ekstrim.

PENGATURAN SENSITIVITAS

Atur posisi sensitivitas sesuai dengan daya yang dikeluarkan dari sumber suara, yaitu mulai dari 5 Volt hingga 350 mVolt.

LED INDIKATOR (ON)

LED INDIKATOR PENGAMAN (FAULT)

LED akan menyala ketika penguat suara bekerja normal. Lihat Gambar 4.

LED akan berkelap-kelip jika terjadi kesalahan pada instalasi perangkat penguat suara dan akan menyala terus jika terjadi kerusakan. Lihat Gambar 4.

CATATAN PENTING:

Lepas semua kabel yang terhubung dengan perangkat penguat suara dan lakukan pemeriksaan secara berurutan. Pastikan kesalahan instalasi ditemukan sebelum menghubungkan kembali kabel ke perangkat penguat suara.

ILUSTRASI JALUR KABEL

1. CRESCENDO REVOLUTION 5A4 dihubungkan melalui kabel ke pengeras suara depan 3 jalur dengan kombinasi aktif dan pasif. Lihat Gambar 5.

NOTE:

1. We recommend 4 AWG (21 mm2_{) cable for use on the power (+12 Volt) and ground}

(GND) connection.

2. We recommend 100 Ampere fuse to safeguard amplifier.

WARNING:

Prior to installation, remove the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent damage to the amplifier. Failure to do so may cause damage, fire or electric shock.

CAUTION:

If you do not posses the technical skills to perform the installation, it is recommended that the installation be carried out by a professional car audio installer.

MOUNTING LOCATIONS

Before performing installation and operating the amplifier, please follow these instructions:

1. Be sure to read carefully and understand the user manual before attempting to install and operate the amplifier.

2. For safety, remove the negative cable from the battery before starting installation. 3. Use only high quality components for all parts of the installation.

4. As far as possible do not carry out installations that require modifications that could result in malfunctioning operations.

5. Do not attempt to open the amplifier under any circumstances. Refer any service/ repair work to CRESCENDO qualified personnel.

Trunk Mounting

In order for the amplifier to work at ideal temperatures, installing the amplifier on the floor of the trunk will provide the best possible cooling through adequate air circulation.

Under Seat Mounting

AMPLIFIER MOUNTING

When determining the installation location, please keep in mind that the amplifer generate heat. Therefore, choose a location where air flows freely around the amplifier. Do not cover the amplifier with materials such as carpet, acrylic, or behind car panels/compartments.

Securely mount the amplifier to the vehicle. See Figure 1.

CRESCENDO REVOLUTION 5A4 is not equipped with internal fuse.

A high quality power cord connection will produce best performance out of the CRESCENDO REVOLUTION 5A4 high performance competition amplifier.

The negative power cable or ground cable is just as important as the positive power cord so the mentioned-above cables should be in the same size.

The recommended power cord size for the REVOLUTION 5A4 is 4 AWG (21 mm2_{). This}

is the largest size that a CRESCENDO REVOLUTION 5A4 sound amplifier can accept. The positive power cord must be provided with a FUSE with a maximum distance of 40 cm from the main battery (see Figure 2). If utilizing an additional battery, the battery must be given a fuse with a maximum position of 40 cm before and after the additional battery (Figure 3).

The maximum fuse size is 50 Ampere for the power cord size 8 AWG (8 mm2_{) and}

100 Ampere for the power cord size 4 AWG (21 mm2_).

CAUTION:

Connect positive power cable to the battery at the very end of the installation phase, that is, after all of the installation process is completed.

The CRESCENDO REVOLUTION 5A4 amplifier only receives low level signals from digital media players, compact disc players or signal processors. This low level signal is transmitted via an “un-balanced” cable with an RCA termination, so it is often called an RCA cable. RCA cables with locking system terminals are recommended. High quality performance cables from Harmonic Harmony brand is recommended.

WARNING:

Do not connect or disconnect the RCA cable while the amplifier is active (ON).

Recommended speaker cables are between 18 and 12 AWG (0.8 to 3 mm2_{) in size}

for the CRESCENDO REVOLUTION 5A4 amplifier. The maximum acceptable speaker cable size is 12 AWG (3 mm2_).

It is advisable to choose a remote control cable with a quality outer wrap to avoid future problems. This is caused by the vehicle’s environment which is always faced with hot, cold and extreme vibrations.

Adjust the sensitivity position according to the power output from the sound source, between 5 Volts to 350 mVolts.

The LED will light up when the amplifier is working normally. See Figure 4.

The LED will flash if there is an error in the installation of the amplifier and will remain lit in case of a malfunction. See Figure 4.

CAUTION:

Disconnect all cables connected to the amplifier and carry out inspection in order. Ensure that installation errors are found prior to reconnecting the cable to the amplifier.

1. The CRESCENDO REVOLUTION 5A4 is connected via cable to the front 3 way speakers in combination active/passive. See Figure 5.

2. The CRESCENDO REVOLUTION 5A4 is connected via cable to 2 way loudspeakers, and 1 subwoofer in mono configuration. See Figure 6.
