N THE midst of the global slowdown, Indonesia's largest coal issuer, PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), managed to record sales of 63.1 MT in the January

2019 period.

Based on the financial statements, the sales rose 5% compared to the same period the previous year of 60 MT.

More specifically, the increase in sales was supported by the Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) mine of 45.5 MT. KPC sales rose 12% compared to the previous year.
