The aim of this study was to find out whether English songs were effective or not in teaching Simple Past Tense at SMK N 1 Kalibagor.
The study was conducted from 1stuntil 25thof April 2013 at SMK N 1 Kalibagor. The experimental method was used in this study which involved two groups; one was control group consisting of 30 students, and the other was experimental group consisting of 28 students
To the experimental group, treatments of teaching Simple Past Tense using English songs were given. In collecting the data, test and questionnaire were used as the instrument to be compared to the control group.
