AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE 1 1 OF THE DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE NO. 374/MPP/KEP/8/1999 CONCERNING EXPORT PROVISIONS
ON QUOTAS OF TEXTILE AND CLOTHING
(Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 366/MPP/Kep/8/1999 dated August 5,1999) THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE,
Considering
a. that in the framework of further increasing exports of textile and clothing, efforts to monitor exports of textile and clothing subjected to quota and non-quota systems need to be done;
b. that since the monitoring is only subjected to textile and clothing under the quota system, to facilitate the monitoring, it is necessary to amend the Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 374/MPP/Kep/8/1998 concerning the export provisions on quotas of textile and clothing;
c. that in relation thereto, it is necessary to stipulate a decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade;
In view of :
1. Presidential Decree No. 44/1974 on principles of organizations of ministries;
2. Presidential Decree No. 61/1998 on the status, tasks, organizational structures and working arrangements of ministries as already amended several times the latest by Presidential Decree No. 142/1998;
3. Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 364/MPP/Kep/8/1998 concerning the export provisions on quotas of textile and clothing;
4. Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 444/MPP/Kep/1 1/1 998 jo. No. 24/MPP/Kep/1/1999 on the organization and working arrangement of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;
5. Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 558/MPP/Kep/12/1998 on the general provisions in the field of export as already amended by the Decree of the Minister of industry and Trade No. 146/MPP/Kep/4/1999;
6. Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 365/MPP/Kep/8/1999 on the appointment of the executing agency for monitoring international trade and industry development.

THE DECREF OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE ON AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE 1 1 OF THE DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE NO. 374/MPP/KEP/8/1999 CONCERNING EXPORT PROVISIONS ON QUOTAS OF TEXTILE AND CLOTHING
Article I
1. To amend Article 1 1 of the Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade so as to read as follows
"Article 11 Monitoring of realisation of export of textile and clothing (TPT)
(1) To help smooth the realisation and boost the growth of exports of TPT, realisation of exports of TPT subjected to quota and non-quota systems shall be monitored by PT Sucofindo state limited liability company (Persera).
(2) The monitoring as meant in paragraph (1) shall be executed in the basis of working contracts.
(3) In addition to reports on the realisation already issued by PT Sucofindo limited liabilty company (Persero) weekly, the Directorate of Industrial Products and Minerals shall announce the remainder of quotas available by categories of TPT to the respective destination countries to all ETTPT through IPSKET and associations periodically."
2. Other provisions contained in the Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 374/MPP/Kep/8/1998 shall be declared to remain effective.
Article II
This decree shall come into force as from the date of stipulation.
For public cognizance, this decree shall be published by placing it in State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia.
