Motivation is a factor to determine whether individual’ goals are high or low (Brown, 2001,

What is motivation?

According to Turner (1995) stated that motivation to be synonymous with

cognitive engagement, which he defines as “voluntary uses of high-level

self-regulated learning strategies, such as paying attention, connection, planning, and monitoring”

Gredler, Broussard and Garrison (2004) define motivation as the attribute that moves us to do or

Having high motivation will create effective

Motivation create teaching atmosphere

Students will be active and creative

It can grow students’ interest and inspiration

been considered as a methodology in

teaching English as a foreign language.
