ABSTRAK
Persediaan merupakan salah satu masalah yang perlu diperhatikan dalam kaitannya dengan kegiatan proses produksi, biaya, serta distribusi barang-barang, baik itu bahan baku, barang-barang dalam proses atau barang setengah jadi, ataupun barang jadi. Kelebihan maupun kekurangan persediaan yang terlalu besar akan mengakibatkan kerugian, karena kehilangan kesempatan memperoleh keuntungan yang seharusnya diperoleh perusahaan. Penelitian ini merupakan penggunaan model pengendalian persediaan dalam menentukan tingkat produksi optimal CPO dengan total biaya persediaan yang minimum. Dari perhitungan yang dihasilkan dengan menggunakan teori pengendalian persediaan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh tingkat optimal produksi CPO setiap putaran produksi adalah 3.124.295,302 kg dengan interval waktu optimal yaitu 1,869 bulan atau 1345,680 jam. Selisih biaya pengadaan persediaan produksi CPO yang dihasilkan dengan menggunakan model pengendalian persediaan dan perhitungan berdasarkan kondisi produksi perusahaan adalah sebesar Rp 101.130.915,4 per bulan.

Inventory is one of the issues that need to be considered in relation to the activities of the production process, cost, and distribution of goods, whether raw materials, goods in process or semi-finished goods, or finished goods. Excess or shortage of inventory that is too large will result in a loss, the loss of opportunity to earn profits that have accrued to the company. This research is using of inventory control models to determine the optimal level of CPO production with minimum total cost inventory. Resulting from the calculation using the theory of inventory control in this research were obtained optimal level of production of each round CPO production is 3.124.295,302 kg with optimal time interval is 1,869 months or 1345,680 hours . Difference in cost of inventory procurement of CPO production generated using inventory control models and calculations based on the company's production is Rp 101.130.915,4 per month.
