PREFACE
This thesis entitled “The Manifestation of Character Values in EFL Textbooks” is
submitted as partial fulfillment of the requirement for Master’s Degree in English
Education, English Education Program of Post Graduate School, Universitas
Pendidikan Indonesia. This thesis is attempted to investigate the manifestation of
character values in EFL Textbooks and How those values are promoted in the
textbooks.
The writer is fully aware that this thesis is far from perfect. Therefore, comments and
constructive critics are welcomed. Hopefully, the results of the study presented in this
paper are expected to give a valuable resource especially for who are interested in
investigating the issue of character education in EFL context.
