PEMBUATAN DAN KARAKTERISASI BETON POLIMER BERBASIS LIMBAH PULP DREGS SEBAGAI AGREGAT DAN
RESIN EPOKSI SEBAGAI PEREKAT
ABSTRAK
Telah dilakukan penelitian pembuatan beton polimer yang terbuat dari campuran pasir, limbah pulp dregs, resin epoksi dan thinner. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui campuran terbaik pasir dan limbah pulp dregs sebagai variable bebas dan resin epoksi serta thinner sebagai variabel tetap. Sifat-sifat beton polimer yang dianalisisya itu sifat fisis meliputi densitas, porositas dan penyerapan air, sifat mekanik meliputi kuat impak dan kuat lentur, serta analisis mikrostruktur beton polimer yaitu SEM-EDX. Hasil yang terbaik diperoleh pada campuran pasir dan limbah pulp dregs dengan perbandingan (65:35) gr, serta penambahan 30 gr resin epoksi dan 15 gr thinner. Nilai densitas yang diperoleh sebesar 1,80 gr/cm3, porositas 10,36 %, penyerapan air 5,74 %, kuat impak 2,705 kJ/m2, dan kuat lentur 26,82 Mpa.

PREPARATION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF POLYMER CONCRETE BASED OF PULP WASTE DREGS AS AGGREGATE AND EPOXY RESIN AS
AN ADHESIVE
ABSTRACT
A research has been done to make a polymer concrete made from a mixture of sand, pulp waste dregs, epoxy resin and thinner. This research was conducted to determine the best mix of sand and waste pulp dregs as a free variable and the epoxy resin and thinner as a remains variable. The properties of polymer concrete were analyzed, namely the physical properties include density, porosity and water absorption, mechanical properties include impact strength and flexural strength, as well as analysis of the microstructure of the polymer concrete is SEM-EDX. The best result was obtained in a mixture of sand and waste pulp Dregs in the ratio (65:35) g, and the addition of 30 g of epoxy resin and 15 g thinner. Values obtained density of 1.80 g/cm3, porosity 10.36%, water absorption 5.74%, impact strength 2,705 kJ/m2, and flexural strength 26.82 MPa.
