The Integration of Information and
Communication Technology
Into Classroom Teaching
This study provides new images of teachers who are pioneers in the use of information and communication technology (ICT) in the classes they teach. This qualitative study looks at teachers in a high school that is a leader in using information technology in the classroom. The findings indicate that most of the teachers participating in this study were enthusiastic about the possibilities ICT holds for classroom use. Examples are given to illustrate how information technology is being used in this school to enhance classroom teaching in several subject areas. Concerns teachers have about the use of technology were identified as issues that could determine the success or failure of the use of ICT in high schools. These concerns include: maintenance, inequalities, the need for training, information overload, the pace of change and stress, plagiarism, business involvement, and teachers

Integrasi Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi untuk pembelajaran di Kelas
Ulasan:
1. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar guru yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini adalah antusias tentang kemungkinan ICT berlaku untuk kelas.
Berdasarkan jurnal yang saya baca bahwa guru guru sangat antusias dalam penerapan ICT dalam pembelajaran, karena hal ini memungkinkan guru guru mampu memvisualisasikan objek objek abstrak menjadi konkret dengan visualisasi yang ditunjukkan melalui ICT
2. Contoh bagaimana ICT digunakan dikelas:
Dari jurnal yang ada bahwa pengembangan ICT diseekolah menengah digunakan dengan pemanfaatan video pembelajaran, aplikasi internet, CD rom, dan software program ICT. Dengan pemanfaatan program program software menjadikan pembelajaran lebih mudah. Yang menjadi kendala adalah bahwa penyediaan software ini tidak banyak mungkin juga tidak gratis. Di Indonesia sudah mulai dikembangkan software yang bisa diunduh melalui rumah pintar dan bisa di akses kapan saja.

The Internet brings information, data, images, and even computer software into the classroom from places otherwise impossible to reach, and it does this almost instantly. Access to these resources can facilitate individual and group projects, collaboration, sharing ideas, and can make available curriculum material not found in schools without Internet access.
Some teachers use ICT in preparing material for class. For example, one teacher used a video camera and taped material for students to use for various projects. Also, because the material available on C D - R OM and other formats is of poor quality or does not meet the classroom needs of teachers, some teachers repackage existing material, customizing it for their class.
3. Kekhawatiran guru menjadi tantangan dalam keberhasilan penerapan ICT dalam pembelajaran. Keprihatinan ini meliputi: pemeliharaan, kesenjangan, kebutuhan untuk pelatihan, informasi yang berlebihan, laju perubahan dan stres, plagiarisme, keterlibatan bisnis, dan waktu guru.
