Deixis is a part of pragmatics study. Levinson (1983: 9) states that pragmatics is study of those relations between language and context that are grammaticalized, or encoded in the structure of a language. Pragmatics is the study of language usage. Such a scope for pragmatics would include the study of deixis, presupposition, implicature, entailment, and speech acts. Deixis is a word or phrase which directly relates an utterence to a person, time, place, social and discourse. There are five kinds of deixis proposed by Levinson, they are: Personal deixis, Place deixis, Time deixis, Discourse deixis, and Social deixis.
This research aims to find out the deixis in Kungfu Panda 3 Movie and the use of deixis. This also to show the function of deixis used in Kungfu Panda 3 Movie.
This is a qualitative research. The analysis is described clearly in form of table. The data of the research is the deixis found in Kungfu Panda 3 Movie. The data source of this research is Kungfu Panda 3 Movie.
The result of the reseach shows there are five types of deixis. They are Person Deixis with 1.097 followed by Social Deixis with 110 continued by Discourse Deixis with 52 and Place Deixis with 36 and Time Deixis with 35. The deixis found in Kungfu Panda 3 Movie are used to refer the person or thing, indicate the social level of the character, give the information of the time, place, and refer the additional information.

Deixis adalah salah satu bagian dari studi Pragmatic. Levinson (1983: 9) menyatakan bahwa pragmatic adalah sebuah kajian yang menghubungkan antara bahasa dan konteks yang tersusun, atau terbentuk dalam sebuah struktur bahasa. Pragmatik adalah kajian bahasa terapan. Setiap kajian pragmatik akan memasukkan kajian deixis, presupposition, implicature, entailment, dan speech act. Deixis adalah kata atau ungkapan yang berhubungan pada orang, tempat, waktu, sosial dan Discourse Ada lima jenis deixis, yaitu: Deixis Orang, Deixis Tempat, Deixis Waktu, Deixis Discourse, dan Deixis Sosial.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan deixis dalam Film Kungfu Panda 3 dan penggunaannya. Penelitian ini juga bermaksud untuk menunjukkan fungsi deixis dalam Film Kungfu Panda 3.
Penelitian ini berupa Penelitian Kualitatif. Analisisnya akan digambarkan dalam bentuk tabel. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah deixis yang ada dalam Film Kungfu Panda 3, sedangkan sumber datanya adalah Film Kungfu Panda 3. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat 5 jenis deixis. Yaitu 1097 Deixis Orang, 110 Deixis Sosial, 52 Deixis Discourse, 36 Deixis Tempat dan 35 Deixis Waktu.Deixis yang ditemukan di Film Kungfu Panda 3 digunakan untuk merujuk orang atau benda, mengindikasikan kasta sosial pada karakter, memberikan informasi waktu, tempat dan merujuk pada informasi tambahan.
