• Dampak UB terhadap pengurangan

kemiskinan dan pengangguran serta

permasalahan regional, besar potensinya

untuk ditingkatkan

• Lulusan UB sebagian besar masih sebagai

pencari kerja belum sebagai pencipta

lapangan kerja.

• Hubungan antara UB – Pengusaha

-Pemerintah, masih belum optimal bila

dievaluasi dari aspek investasi pada institusi

• Inovasi IPTEK yang dihasilkan oleh UB

setiap tahunnya berlimpah, namun

sangat minimal yang bisa menjadi

komersial

• Berbagai isu, ketidak pastian dan

tantangan globalisasi, menekan sistem

pendidikan tinggi (PT) menuju kearah

entrepreneurial university

Diknas (2005-2007) untuk menyusun konsep

(Pedoman Umum & Pedoman

Operasional)

, menguji coba, dan

menyebarluaskan

inkubator bisnis PT

• Telah dilakukan dan diujicoba perbaikan

sistem pendidikan entrepreneurship sejak

akhir 2006 sampai sekarang, bekerjasama

dengan Waseda University dan PT di

negara-negara ASEAN dengan sponsor JBIC, Jepang.

Selanjutnya berkembang menjadi

• PPP-NEWS – Hasil studi Asian Development Bank (ADB)

menunjukkan ada dua skenario yang bisa terjadi pada

perekonomian Asia termasuk Indonesia di 2050. Yaitu, menjadi

pusat pertumbuhan dunia atau malah terjebak dalam middle

income trap……….

• Studi Asia 2050 menyebutkan ada 7 negara Asia yang diyakini

bisa menjadi motor pertumbuhan Asia dalam skenario Abad

Asia yakni China, India,

Indonesia

, Thailand, Jepang, Korea

Selatan, dan Malaysia.

• Menurut Rajat, skenario Abad Asia bisa terwujud

jika saja

negara-negara di Asia mampu mengontrol sejumlah risiko

yang menghadang seperti pengelolaan kebijakan lokal yang

tepat, pengaturan diversifikasi kebijakan energi yang

efisien, serta penerapan inovasi dan peningkatan

kewirausahaan

.

Sedangkan negara yang masuk dalam middle

income trap, ditandai dengan ketidakmampuannya untuk

bersaing dengan negara maju salah satunya dalam hal inovasi.
