ABSTRACT
Currently, most of the businesses located in Indonesia are SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises). The amount of SMEs growing so rapidly is now making the business competition getting tight. Partnership is regarded as a solution to this problem. Some SMEs are having a partnership with Macro Enterprises. By seeing that condition, this research was conducted in order to know the draw of a partnership relationship between SMEs and Macro Enterprises that includes an overview, steps being done, obtained benefits, partnership maintenance and also a variety of issues faced by SMEs in such partnership. This research was using a qualitative method with the object of research is "PT. Arya Mas" Salatiga, which is one of the SMEs in Salatiga engaged in the business of making snacks. The subject of this study was the owner of "PT. Arya Mas". The results of this study will show that such partnership requires steps to be taken by both parties in the form of written "supply of goods agreement" and the way to maintain a good partnership, thus the partnership is able to progress. Besides, such partnership will bring mutual benefits to both parties, especially in terms of revenue and also providing social benefits for the wider community.
