INTERLANGUAGE ERRORS IN ORAL NARRATIVE M ADE BY STUDENTS OF M AN I BOYOLALI.

The object ive of t his research are t o describe t he pronounciat ion errors, speech errors, lexical errors and grammat ical errors,each t ypes of errors, also find out t he dominant and frequency each t ype of errors t hat occurance in oral narrat ive made by st udent s of M AN I Boyolali. In t his research, t he w rit er uses a qualit at ive met hod. The object of t his research is t he second grade st udent s of M AN I Boyolali. The subject are 55 st udent s. The sources of t he dat a are inf ormant and document s. The collect ed errors are ident ified and classified using Chomsky and Hale t heory, Clark and Clark t heory, Selinker t heory, Krasen and Burt and Linguist Cat egory Taxonomy as a guideline. To describe t he errors t he w rit er uses Surface St rat egy Taxonomy. The f indings present t he t ypes of pronounciat ion errors, speech errors, lexical errors and grammat ical errors, t heir det ailed descript ion, and frequency of occurence of t ypes of errors. It is w ished t hat t his st udy may give a new perspect ive in advanced learners’pronounciat ion errors, speech errors, lexical errors and grammat ical errors.
