PENGARUH SUHU SINTERING PADA MAGNET NdFeB
(Neodymium Iron Boron) TERHADAP SIFAT FISIS, SIFAT
MAGNETIK DAN STRUKTUR KRISTALIN
ABSTRAK
Telah dilakukan penelitian pada pengaruh suhu sintering magnet NdFeB terhadap sifat fisis, sifat magnet dan struktur kristalin. Suhu sintering yang divariasikan 400oC,700 oC, 900 oC dan 1000 oC dengan penahanan selama 1 jam.Karakterisasinya meliputi sifat fisis (bulk density), magnetik(fluks density dan VSM) dan struktur kristalin (XRD). Proses pembuatan magnet NdFeB dari bahan
flakes NdFeB pada pengaruh suhu sintering, dimana bahan dimilling selama 72 jam menggunakan Toluene. Proses pembuatan magnet tersebut dilakukan dalam vacuum dengan media gas nitrogen.Berdasarkan analisa struktur XRD pada
pembuatan magnet NdFeBdari suhu sintering 400 oC hingga suhu 1000 oC struktur kristalnya berubah. Kuat medan dan bulk density magnet NdFeB yang didapatkan pada pengaruh suhu sintering semakin menurun/kecil. Hasil dari pengujian VSM pada serbuk kristal NdFeB didapatkan bahwa tanpa disintering nilai remanen 37,34 emu/g , koersifitas 1,07 kOe dan BHmax 0,76 MGOe, nilai-nilai tersebut lebih besar dibandingkan pada suhu sintering 400 oC dan 900 oC dan secara keseluruhan serbuk kristal NdFeB bersifat Semi-Hard Magnetic.

Research on the effect of sinterring temperature in magnet NdFeB on physical
properties, magnetic properties and crystalline structure has been done. The
sinterring of kind 400oC, 700oC, 900oC and 1000oC with detention for an hour. Characterized includes physical properties (bulk density), magnetic (flux density
and VSM) and crystalline structure (XRD). The process of making magnet NdFeB
of flakes NdFeB on the effect of sinterring temperature, where the milling on 72
hours using toluene. The process of making it do in vacuum with the nitrogen gas
medium. Based on the analysis of the structure of XRD in the manufacture of
magneticNdFeB of the sinterring 400oCto 1000 oCchanged crystal structure. Strong field and bulk density of the magnet NdFeB that obtained in the effect of
sinterring temperature has declined or small. Results of testing VSM on crystal
powder without sintering NdFeB found that remanence value of 37.34 emu / g,
coersivity 1.07 kOeand BHmax 0.76MGOe, the values are greater than the
sinterring temperature of 400 oCand 900 oC and overall crystalline powder is Semi-Hard Magnetic.
